It’s a shame as I like him in the role. But he can be recast, as Mike Edwards says, he’s hardly Jackman.

I think we have different perceptions of the character then.

I didn’t sit through the entire clusterfack that was Phase 4 just for Kang to be dropped without any pay off. They better find a satisfying way of ending the multiverse saga

There's been rumours for ages they'll rename Kang Dynasty which is surely true now (Eternity Wars possibly the new name).

They've already gone back to simply calling it Avengers 5.

Rumours were Dr Doom would take over the storyline, they might expedite this now.

I think they're just gonna move on from Kang tbh, he showed some promise but was pretty disappointing in Antman and then it looks like Loki found a way to stop all the Kangs via the TVA

I think they'll probably do this, yeah. Kang seems to have had a lukewarm audience reaction and Loki does give them a bit of an exit point for his story.

They should just recast but it's Disney, so they will try and force through another villain with no backstory or logic. I wouldn't be surprised if Dr Doom is a female.

Loki season 2 now becomes pointless. Thankfully I didn't watch Ant Man, so I saved some time there.
