probably for both best and preference IMO

It's a tough one, I don't think Avengers Assemble has aged that well, certainly when compared to Infinity War and Endgame. Looks slightly bland in comparison somehow now. Maybe that's testament to how good Infinity War is.

I'm counting Civil War as an Avengers movie as it is in all but name.

Nah not really, like if you had to rank all the Marvel films I know Antman isn't that good but I'll rate it disproportionally high cos I love Paul Rudd

It’s all about opinions, I like ant man over some of the bigger ones due to the comedy side of it.

I thought Ant-man was good.

Think some people just can't handle a 4 hour film.

I've watched some 90 min films that didn't grip me that felt like they were 4 hours, so if this doesn't engage you it'll feel like you've wasted an entire day

Tbf it’s not gonna be able to turn it into Infinity War so if it’s just adding a load more battles than I’m all for it.

I find critics to be way off the mark a lot of the time as if they’re forgetting what they’re reviewing. It’s a comic book move, it’s not gone with the wind, it’s not dr zhivago. It’s supposed to be filled with geek-pleasuring grandeur.

If a comic book movie has depth to it strokes of individuality, subtleties and interesting concepts then great. But that’s a bonus, first and foremost it should have great action between characters that you care a little about.

The TR’a version of Steppenwolf was as forgettable as some of the recent Bond villains.

If it’s a vacuous battle-fest then I’ll be happy enough. It won’t get into a top 5, but it won’t be bottom 5 either.

I mean they releases that TR with superman’s mouth and expected people to pay for it? What a joke.

I've heard that Snyders cut includes an extended version of the battle that pits the atlantians,amszonuans and lanterns against Steppenwolf. That alone would be worth watching it for, if it's true.

Just watched IGN’s review, it was very positive, character development much better, more battles, some unnecessary fan pleasing and some less refined CGI but it’s vastly better than the TR and they have it 8/10
