Err could it be because they've worked together before and known each other since some on here were still swimming round in their daddy's ball sack ?

Mackie is a good actor but not just anyone can play Cap. He's really good in Twisted Metal which I've started watching. Seems way more up his street, a role he can really show some character in.

Yeh, think Ma kid is a quality actor… agreed, aboot him being Cap. But I get the reasons behind it, it just doesn’t really make sense, that he’s not a super soldier.

I think it's a shame that Marvel didn't develop Mackie's Falcon character more and put some actual meat on the bone of his character. Actually give Mackie something to work with. They could have done so much more with Falcon than just shoehorning the character into a poor man's Captain America.

Yeah if anything Cap as a character is kinda too boring for an interesting actor to play

Chris Evans basically just had to keep a straight back and look stoic a lot and he was good for that

Im not saying there wasnt a lot of nuance and skill to Evans portrayal btw but i wouldnt say he has the overall range that Mackie does
