Because it’s a bloody incredible song.

I also loved the Witcher theme

It’s a shame the pilot is the peak of that show

The only other show I think that’s the same is Animal Kingdom

Witcher show feels like a weird fever dream

May as well given the number of people who genuinely think this cause they didn't understand the finale

It truly vexes mans

Maybe shows like Flash and Arrow.

Maybe the pilot wasn't the best episode but they had to be kinda convincing to keep it going

Im maybe being a little mean to Witcher, i just felt more watching the first episode than i did for a lot of the rest of the season. Though the one where he meets Yennefer is good


Animal Kingdom though, its like a completely diff vibe and direction style in the pilot, its quite gritty and hard hitting. But then they switch to like a mid level action tv show after it to move forward

I feel like the first season of Witcher was made to make you wanna come back for that moment tho, not to be a good story

Like just a build up to meeting Ciri?

I think the pilot is near perfect. It's basically how to introduce a show.

I actually prefer the finale to Season 3 with Magnussen to the Season 2 finale, which I know is heresy to some.
