Trailer does nothing for me either. If this is just a movie about Shuri becoming the new Black Panther then I heavily suspect it will tank compared to the original. Especially as audiences are getting cold feet after the likes of Thor 4 and Dr Strange underwhelmed.

Huh ? I'm all for black people being leads in movies, there's not enough of it. I love the first Black Panther movie and I was watching all the Blade movies in the cinema when you were just a stain in your Daddy's pants. I've been championing Idris Elba as Bond for ages as well so you're well and truly barking up the wrong tree.
As for Shuri I personally found her to be a forgettable character throughout phase three, nothing to do with gender or skin colour and I don't feel particularly excited about her stepping into the shoes of a character that was played so brilliantly by Chadwick Boseman. As is my right.

MCU has crapped the bed so hard I don't have any enthusiasm for it. Thor was genuinely painful viewing.
I am going a great movie turns the tide though and reingites my passion for it. I really want to be hooked again
Don’t you think, on top of these lacklustre films is also the post credits, and lack of the set up for the future films, which was Marvels thing.
You saw a good movie, and then on top you get a nice tease for what’s next.
