He would never come to GP. Don’t think the fans would have any issues with that appointment, but with his time at Liverpool he would reject.

Now, I know Everton does not equal Real Madrid.

But if Big Sam wants to be seen as anything other than a relegation escapologist, he surely needs to do more than make Everton hard to beat.

I quite like him and want him to do well. But he's got to find more in the tactics locker than he's shown up until now.

Moyes came to United and basically employed the same tactics as he has always done. He was sacked for it.

Allardyce has done the same at Everton but you would argue he had to, to save them this year.

He now needs to kick on, in my view.

Silva was doing well with Watford but it all went downhill for him there when we showed interest and he wasn't given permission to speak to us
