OP
Sorry mate, but I have had enough of the bollox. A bit of reality needs to now come into it. The team and Poch are simply not good enough. The crossing today was abysmal. WBA put a ball in the box, and they looked they would score from every cross. The team is too lightweight, no winners, total bottlejobs the whole lot of them from players to manager.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So we get rid of the best team we've assembled in decades and the manager that created it? You of all people Sandy should know that this is a brilliant Spurs era on the cusp of something big that happens to be going through a lull. That's all it is! West Brom have put some top teams to the sword lately so it's no great disgrace. It's a blip. We'll still qualify and go again next year. Keep your chin up!!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Did you say Poch's not good enough? Why did everybody throw the brown stuff at me when I said it about 6 weeks ago?
The problem OP is that we never seem to learn. Why can't we regularly put away some of the lower half teams, West Brom have taken 4 points off us this season, Swansea, Southampton and the Spammers have also taken points off us - they were all bottom 6 b4 kick off. It just feels like we are further away from the title than we were 2 years ago.
Also why does Poch always pick weird line ups when we are desperate for a result - why did we go 3 at the back today? Why did Lamela start, why weren't Sonny, Dier or Lucas getting a run out. Why are Danny Rose and Toby starting when both will be off in the summer.
Add to this the latest rumours that our top summer targets are Alfie Mawson and Ryan Bertrand. I have just spent a grand on a ST, and am starting to have a bit of buyers remorse

Who thought we’d win today?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I said last week after the crap football against Brighton that WBA would't be worried about us. We drew at Wembley against them, they beat Man U and Newcastle away by GOOD FOOTBALL, drew at home against Liverpool and the way we've been playing since Chelsea ANY BLIND IDIOT could see we wouldn't win it.I couldn't believe Alli came off and Kane stayed on. NO, I didn't think we'd win it.

I think we give our team too much of an easy ride at times. Some of our big game results or not of the required standard. We know we have a team capable of challenging yet we seem to accept failure at critical moments and put it down to reasons such as wages etc. Im sorry but these last few results are not up to scratch and I believe the fans should rightly get on the players backs.

Poch seemingly doesn't pick players when they are leaving, otherwise I can't understand why Toby missed so much of the second half of the season.

People actually fearing that we're going to lose our top 4 place and not get a minimum of 4 points against Leicester and Newcastle at home, and that's if Chelsea win all their games, inc. against Liverpool who would need to at least draw to make themselves comfortable.

We have some of the most expensive ST going. Poch has had a lot of praise over the past few seasons, but we are at a point where he has got to start delivering.

I don't think he will. Look if we just scrape 4th place and therefore crawl on our bellies into the CL how are we going to play when we start in the group stages? To stand any chance we need to roar into it and we're not.
It’s not the defeat that kills us it’s the manor of the performance, slow , wasteful, poor decision making, it’s like we were middle table and we where on the jollies . Still abit to play for before this game kicked off , bloody ashamed at today’s efforts

I always remember Frank Lampard talking about how important it was that they win the league cup one season as it gave them the confidence to go on and win the league. Mourinho despite winning the CL a couple of times still tried to win the league cup last season.
Yet Poch just Poo Poo's the domestic competitions, despite not winning anything. How are we supposed to build a winning mentality.

It's the same with the manner of the wins too. There's no point in winning by offsides and deflections and own goals because we can't take credit for it i.e. Real Madrid against whom we gained 4 very lucky points. When the luck runs out the true form shows as is being seen now by we Spurs supporters.

It’s not the defeat that kills us it’s the manor of the performance, slow , wasteful, poor decision making, it’s like we were middle table and we where on the jollies . Still abit to play for before this game kicked off , bloody ashamed at today’s efforts

It's the same with the manner of the wins too. There's no point in winning by offsides and deflections and own goals because we can't take credit for it i.e. Real Madrid against whom we gained 4 very lucky points. When the luck runs out the true form shows as is being seen now by we Spurs supporters.
