Let`s hope Spurs make it, but if any team can mess up Top Four from the position they were in it would be Spurs. Even now with seemingly two gimmee home games, it should be hard to mess up. But in reality we all know I think that somehow Spurs will contrive to make a right pigs ear of the last two home games. They will huff and puff, may get over the line, but you wouldn`t be putting your house on it.
Chelsea on the other hand are winners, their supporters are playing it all down, but they know if they were chasing any other club they probably would not make top four. But if they have to go to Newcastle to get a win, they will 100 per cent get it. Could you say the same about Spurs at home to Leicester, with all the pressure that will come with absolutely having to win.
Yes we will do it. However it’s ridiculous it’s got to this point in the first place. Yes it’s still in our hands, but why the fack have Poch and the players themselves not been able to stir up a performance in over a month is questionable.
I can't see both Spurs and Lpool making top 4, I think one of us will mess it up, hopefully them.
Newcastle is the key match, win that and we will get our point against Leicester. However if we need to beat Leicester final game, then we will blow it I think.
Liverpool have got their work cut out against Brighton, I wouldn't be at all suprised if that ends in a draw.
Chelsea will win both their games
I think we will win both and finish 3rd, so yes.

We have made things tricky for ourselves, we should have already had the top 4 sewn up by now. All it takes now is some bad luck, a poor refereeing display or some dodgy lasagne and we lose one of our 2 remaining games and it is likely we miss out on CL.
The scary thing is, I can see it happening, the Spurs way sadly.

I think we'll win both games and Liverpool will beat Brighton. Should never have been this close though. I knew when Chelsea turned the 2-0 at Southampton around that they'd go on a run and put the pressure on. At 2-0 Saints in that game top 4 was done and dusted.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yup Poch and the players have completely taken their eye off the ball, and decided to have their worse form of the season. Problem is form cannot just be turned on and off.
I was also in favour of playing as strong as possible a team at Brighton to get the win, knowing the semi-final would probably be lost anyway. Resting players has never worked for Spurs.

Mike Dean might have a lot to answer for. Yes the season is 38 games as opposed to 1, but should either Southampton go down or Chelsea make the top 4 then his failure to send off Alonso despite seeing the incident has clearly had an impact.
I think it will be an utter shambles if we end up messing this up now. 10 points clear and we are in this nervy position again? What is up with this group of players ? These 2 games should be pretty much routine wins, but you just know Spurs will invite Chelsea right back into this.
I called up Talksport last night saying the exact same thing and about our mentality

Don, frankly if they mess up now it would be unforgivable, but we all know in our hearts it is going to happen. Maybe for once they may surprise us, but I doubt it.

Yep. That was the turning point. I remember thinking exactly the same....that they will go on a run now. Very similar when arsenal did it to us, won like 9 games in a row or something. Why always us and why always our facking rivals FFS
We don't know now do we? Flushed and proud of themselves after beating Chelsea, heads in the clouds, top 4 nailed on they thought. Over confidence set in because it's Stoke next etc etc etc. Bit too late in the season now for a win to kick start us. I'm normally confident in what Spurs will do but at the moment I just don't know what's going to happen;
There were headlines after beating Madrid of Spurs sending shudders through Europe, what a joke. It was a joke result born of officials incompetence and pure luck.
Well, these players are constantly spouting off about mentality, champions league bla bla bla.
They have two games at home to get four points against two teams in horrible form with nothing to play for.
I'm usually positive, but I am sorry, if we blow this then I will lose all faith in this bunch.
I expect us to step up though. Two relatively comfortable 2-0 wins

Maybe we are being a little too gloomy because after all WBA are on a renaissance since Pardew left after two good wins and a good draw, new coach effect etc.
Ace, was roughly 6.50pm
Mate. Yes the end, Andy Goldstein asked which game I felt Spurs could mess up in the last 2 I was on it for pretty long and they were firing questions at me. I'll post a link up.
I also had a slight dig at Levy
