Simeone is a good manager but also incredibly defensive. I don't think Spurs fans would tolerate such a stodgy setup for that long.
Similarly Benitez too. I think he'd do well at Tottenham results-wise, but he doesn't exactly play attacking football.
I'd love to see Sarri or Jardim at Spurs.
I would take Simeone even with the less exciting football. Him and Allegri are the 2 stand out managers not currently managing a big team in the PL.
I think the rumour is to do with that we have been trying to appoint a sporting director.
Could it be Ranieri joins us for that? How suitable he would be who knows.
It will not be as manager we always have our managers pretty well planned out. If anything happened to Poch it is Klinsmann and Teddy who will take over. Guarenteed.

Ranieri might even help Spurs win Premiership as mqnager but he is a nearly man in football.He ran close and could have won Champions League with Chelsea,Serie A with Roma and perhaps Ligue 1 with Monaca but won zilch.He did win one Premiership with Leicester City as manager though which was an anomaly.Still he was a good manager who finished second to a great Arsenal squad of Invincibles in 2003/2004 season.

I would be both surprised and disappointed if MP were to go and think its probably just the normal media hype anyway.
If he were to go I would far rather have a Spurs guy like Chris Houghton take over than all the big names from abroad personally.
I am fairly certain that MP will be our manager next season personally.
