I for one am reasonably confident. Under Poch we have underperformed in the domestic cups, but over performed in the league. There is a far greater incentive for our players to win regardless of whether Newcastle/Leicester have been banana skins for us in the past; any of their players that has a World Cup place to think about wont be fully committing their bodies to these games, whereas our players will be 100% committed.

I personally want to see Toby start both games as a precursor to further contract talks. I want to see Son dropped as he has been garbage lately. Dier & Dembele being out is a pain in the arrse, but as I said on another thread we shouldn't need two DMs to win these games at home - Dele alongside Wanyama should be sufficient, no need to do anything silly like giving Sissoko a start. The full backs lack the pace to get in behind, that's been evident of late, so I'd start Lucas.

An early goal against Newcastle to settle the nerves and we should sail home, fingers crossed.

Look at blackstar trying the reverse psychologyhe knows full well Leicester and the supporters have a fascination with Spurs and would love nothing more than to dent our chances of Top 4. You don't think the likes of vardy etc won't be up for it ? The guy hates Spurs. Leicester will be up for it mark my words.

My word Don - talk about paranoid. I personally couldn’t care less if we beat Spurs or not and for Vardy it will be another 3 points. There’s no rivalry with Spurs at all aside from our titlle race a couple of years ago which was after you guys did your usual bottle job in April.

There’s no reverse psychology here Don and if you knew anything about sides outside the top 4 then you’d know just how awful we are right now. If you can’t beat us you have serious problems. We have lost 4 of the last 5 and haven’t scored for 3 consecutive games

Honestly guys I’m not on the wum - we are an absolute shambles. Worst I’ve seen us and that includes the second season under Ranieri. We also have 9 players injured or suspended.

People are making the mistake of thinking we'll lose the matches. We won't. We'll get 4 points out of our 2 games and lose top 4 based on goal difference.
