I would suggest his actions in North Korea have been, surprisingly, successful.

Although he is perhaps empowering China and leaving his allies in the region, particularly Japan, exposed.

Beyond that he's a joke.

Has nothing to do with North Korea’s nuclear test site collapsing just prior to their surprise backtrack on developing nuclear weapons

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/apr/26/north-korea-nuclear-test-site-collapse-may-be-out-of-action-china

Trump was actively making things worse with N. Korea.. I suspect he’s got next to nothing to do with North Korea’s change of heart.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But he will take full credit, like he’s done for most other things that had nothing to do with him. And the bible thumping nutjobs in America will lap it all up
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, but they won't be lapping up Scotland's other national drink when they come to play galf in Scatland because of that basturt.

I mean, what have Barr's ever done to him, other than maybe produce a satisfying refreshing drink that just happens to match his hair colour.

Tbf the new Irn Bru isn’t a patch on the original recipe.

Not nearly as tangy or sweet.

Trumps more Scottish than Barr’s these days. Sold oot

“Nonetheless, he's engaged with them and his actions have genuinely made a difference.

I don't like the guy in the slightest and it's ridiculous he's remained in office, but he deserves credit on this.”

Agreed

It’s fashionable to be anti trump tho

He’s also just contributed to an escalation in the Syrian/Middle East conflict.

Israel and Saudi Arabia will both be emboldened by Trumps decision to pull out of the Iran deal. Expect far more prolonged conflict in the Middle East now.. and possibly more escalation.

Yeah the Middle East was a divine peaceful place before pesky trump interfered

If by engaged you mean to threaten them by raining fire and fury upon them, making relations between North and South Korea the worst they’d ever been.. then aye you’re correct.

He’s done nothing to engage with them. Not unless we’re talking about a biggest d¡ck contest.

Who said it was?

He’s made it worse, and is continuing to make it worse.

I’d suggest Iran and Israel et al don’t like each other regardless of the trump.

But you continue to blame it all on the bold yin

The Middle East has had problems since long before trump was president

Of course they don’t like each other, but tensions between the two had been pretty stagnant before Trump came to power.

He’s effectively legitimatised any future attacks by Israel and Saudi

Care to retort?

I’m assuming you’re delighted at the escalation in the Middle East since he’s been President.

Don’t think I need to tbh

posted on 10/5/18

So you don't think relations in the middle East have worsened since Trump has been in power?

posted on 10/5/18

Not particularly no

I’m not sure why you find that funny ?

As I’ve said before, the Middle East has big problems and long running tensions that haven’t suddenly come to a head because of trump
