One of your better players this season but with a multitude of 10s you need to get rid of one or two so wouldn't be surprised.
Rooney in the thickest man to end up in Washington since Donald Trump
Was being reported yesterday that his representatives are in town. DC are a dreadful team these days. They are in the middle of a squad overhaul to try to get younger legs in. So far this season it hasn't worked for them. they have stagnated as the league has strengthened and grown and despite being one of the founding members of MLS and having a great winning history, they are in danger of becoming an irrelevance. They've invested heavily in abuilding a new stadium which opens soon. Seems like a desperation move on their part to bring in a name and try to generate some money and interest.
good news for Rooney is, that he'll be a stones throw from Hershey PA, the center of chocolate bar production in the US

Interesting stuff. I should take more interest in the MLS. Bradley W-P said he was surprised by the levels of passion and commitment shown in the games, even among ageing pros like David Villa.
MLS would be a good place for Rooney and he might get a couple of good seasons in there as some kind of swansong. In fairness, he's not done too badly this season. 11 goals is more than I thought he'd get, although I think most of those came in the first half of the season.
Reports are saying that they'll be paying a 12mil transfer fee..

Everton should bite their hand off. It would probably half the wage bill and give them something to put in the transfer kitty. He'll be 33 in October.

Nothing has been signed yet and uncertainty over Everton boss Sam Allardyce's position means the forward, 32, could stay at Goodison Park.

according the the BBC it's not a done deal. He is waiting to see if he is wanted by the next manager at GP.
Nothing left for him to prove in England and you can already predict Everton's 2018/19 season.
