Stuff the team unity change up and move on team unity has not made us better. But now is the season to write off players before they have even signed.
Wheres our new goal keeper in all this?
Ben Arfa has also been known to have an attitude problem/be a trouble maker.
I'm not sure how much team unity there is right now, but we could do with having it built up again and, unless his he's had a character transplant over the last couple of years, Grealish isn't the kind of individual that would help on that front. Same with Ben Arfa.
It might be worth a punt at £4M (assuming the 0 is a typo).
I remember when it was rumoured we were trying to sign David Speedie .Everyone was going potty. He turned out to be a good signing didn't he.

Haha, the blissful ignorance of living in Nev’s World.
It's the Nev career path, TB. New players are all heroes until they do something that endears them to most of the fans, then they become overrated backstabbers who need to be shot.

You’ve hit the jackpot with this one!!
All team unity ever did was help us to win a premier league title. It’s absolutely useless - we don’t need it

No, beacuse then you might have to give some credit to Nigel Pearson
Team unity SINCE winning the Premiership thanks in no small part to the sacking of NP and replacing him with the man.
Team unity last season what did that do,team unity this season what did that do a new team and a new team united behind the manager not each other

Nev - seriously? Usually I can see a grain of truth beyond your obvious hatred of Nige but not this time.
Team unity since winning the Premiership has absolutely nothing whatsoever in the slightest to do with the sacking of Pearson and absolutely everything to do with the remains of his legacy.
You have managed to do the unthinkable this time, for once TB and BS aren't arguing!
I could not help myself. NP created a unified team mentality that played a major part in our sucsess combine that with CR and kante Marhez and Vardy and you win the premier league.
Since then the "team Mentlity has imo seems to be that they are more important than the managers and the future development of the team.
Puel was going to stay unless there was a suitable replacement lets see what kind of team we have next season and i as ever will give the new guys time to develop and some who havn't made the grade this season might well come good next season.
I am positive and excited about it shame we will lose Marhez but its now time for someone else to step up
Nev posts something ridiculous and then has to backtrack seen this before.....
Looks like Everton are leading the race for Maddison which is why Grealish is back on the table for a move to Leicester which is I think where he will end up
Rather buy an injured Maddison for £20 million than Grealish.
£40,000,000 ??? Are Villa serious?
Are we that stupid to pay that much for a player who is worth £15 million tops?
I don't think he is the right fit for our club.
Maddison all day long. Once he gets fit, he will adapt i'm sure.

Oh we absolutely are. This is the club who blew a combined £70m on Slimani, Musa and Iheanacho. The goal return is currently standing at about 13 across 2 seasons.
Hopefully the word ponder in KTFs post is the salient one and Rudders has already forgotten his thoughts on this one ( for that price anyway )
Saw a report that West Ham and Spurs are also interested in Grealish, £40 million mentioned again.
Is there more to him than he's being given credit for?
So the transfer transfer speculation is about as existing as a pass along the half way. All very top of championship/just promoted rather than established premiership team that won the league only 2 years ago.

Nope, not at all. Like a kid on the playground he's convinced he is the next Messi and it's a case of the Emperors New Clothes.
If he hasn't stood out at the club that he loves so much in the Championship then that says a lot. He would make Sissoko look like a world beater.
Listening to talk sport at lunchtime,
They think he has a lot to offer,
But and theres always one!
His mental state they think not quite grown up yet and the price tag could sit heavy,
But if he's looked after properly educated and
And given a little time,
Could be a fabulous player and think city would suit him,?
Not for 40 million quid Dublin. Daylight robbery that is.
Two thirds as valuable as Mahrez? Not a chance.
Villa need the wonga to offset FFP. Grealish, i would imagine, would be one of their top earners no doubt?
If any interested buying clubs had any sense then they would make Villa sweat by dragging it out to get the price down a fair wack.
Besides, he ain't that brilliant - only in fits & starts. Inconsistent.
