good news

I guess miller has gone

Miller was always going, Wallace is a good player with the club at heart and I, for one, am glad he's staying

Likewise.

Hope he’s now fully fit and ready to challenge for his spot at left back.

Good to hear

Nonsense, Wallace has proved he is a disruptive influence in the dressing room, he apparently undermined Murty. No matter how pash Murty.

Hope he never pulls on the Jersey again.

Anyone can be disruptive if pushed. Look at Baz and Shegga.

Not to mention Wallace was right to be angry. I’d rather John started but happy if Wallace stays, been loyal and we could do with some more passion if anything.

I suppose common sense prevails but you can't help but feel that they undermined the previous and divided/destroyed the dressing room.

I think it’s very sensible management.

After the sheer clusterf@ck that was Murty I’m not surprised one bit that he got challenged.

At the end of the day we don’t know what happened so we can’t fully judge either of them so this is the most sensible option imo.

Murty’s decision making and tactics were enough to divide the dressing room.

Beyond rumours of them talking back to Murty is there anything more in depth over what they did?

Hmmm, maybe, but I recall before the watershed game Murty was hailed as a hero. This was the game he was going to put Celtic back in their box, and the future was to be Rangers'. It was a very rapid fall after that.

Well that’s your side of the story anyway.

True rats, what's yours. How did you view the build up to the 3-2 game at Ibrox?

Apart from Escy's nonsense bet that is.

Rangers were in good form and were getting much better results. But this derailed that and it was never recovered from. Murty showed that when things go against the plan he didn’t react in ways to fix it.

I like many others were never convinced by Murty. He did have a good run for a while but I don’t think he was ever portrayed as a hero.

He had his chance and blew it and caused disruption in the team by bizarre decision making.

He’d make a player captain one week then drop him the next. That alone is enough to make people ask serious questions.

I don’t think he was ever really considered as manager material.

Also picking Martin consistently over Alves ffs. Whit in the name o f@ck?

My respect for Alves is even higher for keeping quiet and professional while this train wreck management was going on. I’m surprised he didn’t boot Murty’s khunt in

Decent point about Alves. He was a pro. Didn’t moan that his last chance at a World Cup was being put at risk for Russell Martin.

Wasn’t the signing that we hoped for but he did show how to handle a manager making decisions you don’t like

posted on 31/5/18

Until Irvine and Timmy tells us what really happened then I guess we have to accept what we are told at face value. Agree about Alves, what did the poor sod have to do to get a game?

Cardoso looked decent at times. Exciteable such as celebration of the tackle at pittodrie but I’m fine with that if it gets the job done

Don’t particularly like Miller, but it’s still a fairly poor way for his Rangers career to end.

Do both of them have a bit of history of issues with recent managers?!

When Halliday\candeias were throwing strops during Celtic game it was alves trying to get everyone calm and focused...the man is an absolute model professional and it’s been overlooked by many this season
