Doesn't the Mercedes though work better on the harder tyre?
I though the HS tyres were only to be used in Monaco?
Hopefully, Mercedes have called this right.
The Mercedes works better on the harder tyres but it is not particularly fond of the Super Softs. Should be an interesting race.
Think Mercedes have given themselves more options as I doubt the HS can do more than 10 laps under the type of speed differential and braking forces at Montreal
Why the shift then to ever softer tyres I wonder?
Is it to encourage more pit stops?
Think that's the plan to be honest
