Just means a world record fee is required to buy him now.

Probably about twice the amount Barca will nick Salah off you for.

OP - 7-y-olds should be in bed by now. Go and play with your dolls and leave the footy chat to the adults.

“It's a well known trend in football that clubs will secure contracts with players they intend to sell, or that wish to go.”

In which case every single player with a contract in world football is up for grabs. Including yours.

Even if Kane was to move on it would be for a fee significantly higher than £70m

I'm sure the article is a wind up but Kane will give it at least one season in the new stadium.

If Spurs win a trophy next season I think that would pretty much guarantee another season.

That said, I would expect him to have moved on before he is 27 if he has genuine aspirations of winning the League Title and/or the CL.

I don't see Spurs winning either competition at the expense of City, United or Liverpool in the next 5 years.

I don’t

Laugh at Liverpool all you want.

They are, in my opinion, more likely to challenge for the top honours in the coming seasons.

That opinion is based on their performances against City this past season, which gives me the sense they will be City's main challengers in 2018/19 and beyond.

If you feel different, put forward a constructive argument.

Liverpool beating City is not a constructive argument for them doing well, they are your bogey team, Liverpool beat you when you are good or bad. How many times have Cityy won at Anfield in the past 30 years?

Spurs finishing above Liverpool year on year is a more constructive argument to why Liverpool won't do as well as you think.

Yeah because that's how it works

City bottle it against their bogey side over 2 legs and it makes the opposition's next 5yrs rosy
