Ideally what we do is have enough established players to field a team but have the youngsters on the bench to be used initially as subs, then start them as they gain experience.
Allegedly a Middle East investor to take over and provide cash surplus to meet payments. I don't know if that means we have to sell our best players, but I sincerely hope not. If we sell Grealish, Kodjia, Adomah and Chester, as well as Terry, Snodgrass and Johnstone no longer being here, that's over half our bloody first team. Happy for us to lose Whelan, Jedinak, Hutton, McCormack, Richards, Hogan and any other past it/underperforming players we have signed. But the likes of Kodjia and Adomah will be key to us going up next season, even if losing Grealish is inevitable.
Maybe, just maybe, these new investors will prevent that from happening. Otherwise, we'll be in for a torrid time next season for sure.
