Jose has lost the plot and soon he will lose the players and the fans.

He's not winning, his football is ugly and he blames the players publicly. We look miles behind City and Liverpool.

So criticising our club captain and Martial (again) is a message to Woodward?

Jose should have a good look at the Bayern v City game
Up against Robben Ribery etc and 2 nil down instead of defending to try and keep the score down City’s kids are encouraged to express themselves and came back to win 3-2
We only had Laporte on for an hour,Mahrez for 25 mins replaced by Bernardo that’s it,rest were kids

Utd will never get back on track until they rid themselves of this poisonous unt

Have to agree, but it’s not just the manager that’s the issue. We need a restructure of the board tbh, a director of football for one is needed.

Martial is blatantly off. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s purposely not coming back and is staying away till he gets his move. As for Valencia, maybe Jose is annoyed at his conditioning

Ultimately he has a right to be annoyed if those around him aren’t taking pre-season seriously

I do understand why people are worried - even I’m worried a bit as the chemistry of pre season just isn’t right but there is still time and hopefully Woodward pushes through 2/3 signings this week

You can go two ways with all this. You can go the negative route and give up on Jose and think this is some no-coming-back meltdown or you can be positive and accept that we never really had a chance in pre season with a bunch of kids in the sides and the real business starts when the better players come back. I’ve seen lots of pre seasons that looked awful and then when the season started everything came together

Mourinho says he wants two more signings but fears he will only get one, having given United “a list of five names month ago”

Those guys robbed and Ribery who are nearing retirement age.
Can't be that hard defending against a couple of old codgers

Problem with this bunch of players who came out on tour is that the vast majority aren’t even going to be in the squad

So it’s not like Jose can look at it as a way to prepare the second team for the season ahead. His job on this tour is to prepare a squad for the season ahead but only has about 8/9 of that squad available

Ultimately the club shouldn’t have sanctioned such a tour in a World Cup year.
