Both Lacazette and Aubameyang are central strikers but the attacking options around them are very poor especially when you compare them to pool, city, united and chelsea.

Id Emery Wenger in disguise?
Blame Wenger for our lack of funds
Get a grip! It's the first game, vs the Champions (who are in their 3rd year with one of the best managers in the w orld). We have a new manager, with new players and new coaching. It will take months to get this team where we can see his influence.
I don't think throwing money at it is the answer. Bellerin stalled under Wenger as did Mustafi and Kolasinac. Hopefully, Emery can help them pick up again. I think the personnel is there...just need time to adjust tactically. I think you will see Torreira start next to Guendouzi in the next game. Lichsteiner was good and Lacazette to start in place of Ramsey and I think that is our best 11.
Again, give them time and look at the mountain of issues that need to be fixed and realize that money won't solve it.
How many times does the wage issue have to be explained ffs?
Chelsea will trash Arsenal next game.
We got top 4, maintained it last season and got to the CL final with a much smaller NET spend.
Xhaka and Mustafi have been garbage since being here and they are still starting for us. A top team would have found the necessary replacements immediately

Huh?? Did he clone Kronkes bank card and steal his cash on his way out of the club?
There are no legs in defence or Mf and we have Mkhi and Ozil out wide. No pace whatsoever

Thankfully yours is the voice of reason amongst these numpties. We lose one game against last year's champions and the toys are already out of the pram. Sometimes it is hard work associating myself with other so called Arsenal fans.
It was a decent window considering we didn’t have much money to spend. If that’s all we’re going to get to spend most windows , it’s going to take us a fair few of them for us to get a team that can fully implement how Emery wants to play. The board should have backed him more financially though, just for his first one at least
Yes it will take time but the owners need to invest more in the team.
City have a top manager but have spent £1billion to assemble their team.

It's crazy at times. It's like people expect us to win everything under the sun while playing sublime football etc. People forget that many a player has come out and said that under Wenger, there was little tactical direction. You could see how open we were to counter attacks. I think a couple of swaps to players and we will perform well. I think top 4 is potentially there for the taking. I think there was more hunger and urgency in this game than in many I saw over the past couple of seasons. Where we failed many times was against the lower league teams. We did not put in performances. If we change that and give 100% every game, we will be ok. Title challenge in a couple of seasons maybe.
Wouldn't read anything into this game. City are a different class to us and provided they didn't play well below they'd always pump us.
That said the squad is still full of glaring weaknesses that write this season off just like others. LB, CB and RB are weak. GK average. No wingers at all and Xhaka
The biggest challenge is getting into the top four for the short term to benefit building a proper side for the long term. We need to maintain our status as a top side but we also need to properly build this side from the ground up. All our current best players will be finished by then. Challenging.
Must have been a tough summer for you with nothing to moan about. Glad you've hit the ground running for the new season.
