Should be £5 at Old Trafford bearing in mind the football we being served.

I agree.

The further you live from the stadium the more you should be charged. £1 increase for every mile from the stadium would work

tickets should be about £15-20 a game

It's two hours worth of entertainment, it should cost about £8-12 to go to a football match IMO.

so top quality football entertainment is worth £4-6 an hour?

have you ever been to a Conference or non-league Pyramid game?

God, no

Maybe £12 is a tad low, maybe £15-20.

According to Dr Rob Wilson, a sport's finance specialists at Sheffield Hallam, 11 out of the 20 Premier League clubs could play in empty stadiums

City have been doing that for ages.

you have to pay that to watch National League football matches

Clubs don't charge £40-£60 because they need to, but because they want to and because they can.

I find that, in most situations, people like having more money if at all possible.

That shows how much a shambles ticket pricing in this country is. can get a season ticket at bayern for £200ish.

If clubs don't need bums on seats why do they spend millions on building extensions to existing grounds like Liverpool and United do and bigger new stadiums like Arsenal and Spurs to the point that some cant even compete in the transfer market anymore.

I think it just goes to show that us that pay our Sky Prescriptions are the REAL fans as we are the ones making the club money, and therefore enabling the club to buy players.

Those plastic fans who refuse to pay their Sky Prescriptions and insist on going to matches are actually costing the club. Us that watch on TV at home should have the biggest say on the direction of the club, as we are funding it. We are the real fans. Pay your F-ing Sky Prescrptions you plastic match going mugs!

I had hoped the massive increase in tv money would mean they could cut the price of tickets, however its just all gone to increased wages and transfers. Though i guess that was never going to happen

Well how else do you watch it? On the radio? There's no picture! Unless you somehow got invited along to the filming which I imagine would be pretty expensive.

Yes, and its free in Scotland. Thats why Scottish clubs don't have any money.

The Jocks have to pay the same to watch the Jock league as the EPL fans have to pay to watch the EPL because it all comes under sky/BT. It's like paying for a ticket to Old Trafford and then going to a Cowdenbeath match.

Better atmosphere at Cowdenbeath, Barry?

Greed. Simple as. Pl clubs are gluttonous.
