The outcome is different of course.

If I shot someone and they didn't die or did die, the act is still as bad. Just the outcome is better or worse.

Not defending alonso regardless, anyone who drink drives should be jailed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You may think it is morally the same; but the punishment is different.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But Both should be punished. Drink driving for me should be jailtime regardless.

I'm assuming there was another occasion where you deluded yourself into claiming some kind of victory when it clearly wasn't so. Bit of a pat term here Nick.

Sort your sh!t out.

Is there a limit? Say someone has had half a pint over should they get the same punishment as someone who has had 8 pints?

Should someone who kills someone in a car accident get the same punishment as someone who doesn't?

I'm not the one getting angry and emotional and abusing other posters I'm perfectly enjoying my Friday, and you have your knickers in a twist. Keep engaging me thinking i'm winston or someone who will argue with ya forever.

Are we talking about punishment as in jail time or the club? My comments have been in response to clubs giving alonso a contract (flashy).

"Chelsea are more than happy to overlook his history so long as he pops up with a goal from left back.
That's it really.
Chelsea football club ladies and gentlemen."

About half hour after that the lloris news broke. Which leads me to believe flash want's spurs to sack lloris now?

In terms of jail time of course it would be different, but for me both should be jailtime. I don't know the laws, is an failed burglary and successful not the same punishment?

Lloris didn't kill anyone.

Who did Hugo kill?

Who did Hugo pay off to escape punishment?

The whole 'someone died' fact seems to be overlooked repeatedly.

posted on 24/8/18

Flash quick question. If someone shot you but you didn't die would you not want them to be punished?

posted on 24/8/18

Of course.

Why?

posted on 24/8/18

lol robbing still chirping. I'm done with you mate. I'm not disagreeing that alonso should have been punished. But it is the same act, one just ended up with a more drastic outcome.

So my point of view is this.

Alonso according to you, should not be playing football for chelsea due to drink driving where someone died.

Lloris has been caught with the same offence, but luckily nobody was hurt.

Now both were mistakes, sadly one ended in loss of life. So by your logic, neither should be allowed to play football?

posted on 24/8/18

Mate the fact that someone died make such a difference.

An attempted robbery and an actual robbery aren't too different as the solution to fix the crime is relatively the same.

A murder and an attempted murder are hugely different - hence why they are seen as such in a court of law.

posted on 24/8/18

i want to reiterate btw, what alonso done was a grave mistake and although I don't know the ins and outs, for me drink driving should be jailtime, especially with loss of life

The former should definitely result in jail time though, the latter not so much.

I think youre at the point where youre using lots of words to not say anything at all tbh. In short, pointless.

Tell that to someone whose been burgled and lost all treasured items in their household and never gets them back.

Not as extreme as murder of course. But either way i'm not disagreeing that both should be punished. My original query was that if alonso should not be allowed to play footy, then surely lloris shouldn't be either. Both made the same mistake. Luckily both didn't end in tragedy

Alonso has killed someone. He did not set out to kill anybody, but he did. He's not a murderer but he is guilty of manslaughter.

Hugo did not set out to kill anybody either. He did, however, commit the offence of drink driving.

The punishments for manslaughter and drink driving are different.

Alonso shouldn't be playing football cos he should be in prison serving his sentence.

Hugo can play football as he won't be serving a prison sentence.

I've been quite clear as to what I've responded, to who and why. You? Not so much just like your last comment (that you weren't going to make).

Awful poster.
