I doubt their is a Liverpool fan on the board, that knows where Knotty Ash is? The Liverpool fans like a lot of United fans did jump on the bandwagon of their successful 1970/80s side. They could barely muster 30,000 crowds in the1950s in their second division days, compared to the 70,000 crowds Spurs were pulling in their second division days of the late 1940s.

The fact that a big club has fans from all over the country and the world is not a stick to beat a club with. Yet you won’t see this post as you don’t have the temperament to put up with people showing you up as an in knowledgeable old fool.

We actually had a poster on the board from Knotty Ash to.
