When I did my prediction a few weeks ago, I gave Pool for the title.
There were 128 comments, only one agreed with me.
So nothing for any of you to worry about.

Liverpool look more clueless against defensive teams than City. That will ultimately be their downfall again.

City seem to struggle more against the high intensity press but there aren't many teams good enough to do it due it being a very demanding way of playing.

City will win it by 7-10pts I reckon.

So far we're still finding a way through. We've got a lot of improving to do, which is a nice thought considering we've made our best ever start to a PL season.

That works 1 off 2 ways, either you sort yourself or results start catching up with you.

For the record i think it will be the former with you but i have personally never been as enamoured at most with grinding out wins unless it's in April or May.

Some fairly decent comments from rival fans here

Im programmed to not winning the title ...so.my expections are year throughout year never really change ....and i dont expect to win this either ..maybe 3rd or fourth ...cant see city not winning ...

As far as united winning ..so used to it ..not bothered ..well.used to it ...

My honest opinion is Liverpool will win it.

i can see chelsea winning it.

liverpool looks less than convincing, west ham game aside, city seem to be struggling to tear teams apart and spurs showed their old self this weekend.

Liverpool winning it is gonna happen some time. I think City might just have too much this year, with next year being Liverpool's year.

Have filtered a lot of the muppets on here who drag me into silly arguments.

Have always said the majority of people on here are probably decent offline, although still too many snowflakes who can't handle a strong opinion.

If anyone deserves it, it's Man Utd.

Our fans have put up with a level of suffering that you guys have no idea about.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
You have had 25 years of continuous success. 5 years is nothing compared to what other teams have had to put up with.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Are you for real?

Come back to me when you've seen football under Moyes, LVG and Mourinho, or seen Fellaini line up as your creative midfielder.

You don't know hardship mate.

Man Utd fans deserve some luck.

To be honest I'd prefer these over failaini
-joe Allen
-darren Gibson
-stuart downing
-cleverley
-anderson
-a 50 year old Paul scholes or giggs
-remember when Nicky butt was one of our worst midfielders, that guy would walk right in and outplay these fools with his eyes closed
-charlie Adam

Basically anybody

I think Liverpool will win it this season. I base that on teams raising their games against City this year.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Interesting point - I was thinking this the other day. Already this season we seem to be a bigger scalp than after previous title wins. I think Pep will be quite happy to see Liverpool having a purple patch so early on though, hopefully it will take a bit of attention away from ourselves. In terms of looking at the long game we’re in the fortunate position to be able to ease our World Cup stars back into rotation a lot more gently than the rest of the league, hopefully that will pay dividends at the business end of the season.

To me its a city lfc title race, said it b4 a ball was kicked and after we had completed our signings.

Funny to say but i think our defence will win us the league.

Keep backing failaini, kid.
Also keep making those attention seeking articles, they're a joy, kid.

I'd rather see the Dips win vs. a London team tbh, and it would make for some happy Dippers who would all be magnanimous in winning. It would end a lot of bitterness, and as I don't see us in contention this season, so let's see if we can get this out of the way and move on with the real business.

posted on 5/9/18

I'd be happy to see Liverpool win or even Spurs. Liverpool play great football and have built a team shrewdly by selling their top players then reinvesting the money. Spurs are doing things on what's practically a shoestring budget vs other top sides.

City winning is fine too just given they haven't got any fans to gloat about it. Worst option would be for United to win it with their awful brand of anti football and massive fan base
