Quite an interesting idea. Is it that much of an issue, i always thought folk would stick them on pretty much at trackside?

Not many athletes on JA606.

I used to be a sprinter back in the day and never really paid attention about the spikes being damaged on concrete.

Losing spikes and getting compacted mud in hole used to be more of an issue IMO. If you couldn't screw the replacement in enough, then you'd often lose them.

Personally I just put my spikes on as I went to the track and had my trainers at hand on the side.

Filled in the Survey and will give you my idea as to what I would do in my next comment.

Personally - I would design a sort of 'sole' that you can attach to the bottom of your shoe as padding.

The spikes can fit into the comfortable malleable material and then the heel is covered to ensure you are walking flat - but kind of like you are wearing platform shoes (if you understand what I mean). Spikes then get protected and the shoes basically become trainers.

Also, my 100m PB was 11.4s

What is the USP for your product as there are many track spike covers available already.

Is this an issue that needs solving?

Not sure JA606 is the best place to ask for survey answers!

Also my 100m PB was 11.4s. What were you wearing? Wellies?

Just tape your odour-eaters to the outside instead of putting them inside.
