Yes.
Our undying support is the biggest thing about Man United. We (the supporters) have always kept the Red flag flying high during the bad times for decades.

When we appointed him, myself, Mudd, VC et al were against his appointment. Some idiots here thought it was about blindly supporting LVG. Who can honestly say we have improved since the Dutchman. We look lost and out of ideas.
We are as boring now as we were then. We have not improved one bit when it comes to our football.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'll be honest and say that I was pretty pleased when he was appointed but had some reservations about style of play/behaviour etc.
What I do think we've seen is Jose-lite though at times as he's tried his best, IMO, to provide the football the fans want to watch but he just can't do it due to his natural tendency to be a more pragmatic manager.
Had he come in straight after SAF then I don't think we'd be in this mess though as he had winners in that team whereas I don't believe that he believes deep down this squad is good enough.
When LVG was sacked I though it was harsh the way they did it but was probably the correct decision. Had LVG been a bit younger though then I'd have been happy to see where his philosophy/process was going as at least you could see what he was trying to do even if it was turgid at times. Had he signed a really good forward at the time (pity ADM didn't work out) then things could have been different. Our run of games in 2015 was probably the best spell we've had since SAF retired.

We'd probably go for Conte. The board repeatedly seem to go for safety first appointments. Though I don't think that's what this group of players need. And it's certainly not what our fans want to see

There aren’t many better than Simeone either. But moat wouldn’t want him at the club. We need a radically different approach.

Knows the club. Respected by SAF. World Cup winner. French. Wouldn't cost anything in terms of compensation!
It's not about ability Sideshow. His football is turgid and United need to move away from that if there is to be significant improvement, not to mention we've been watching rubbish football for years
Pigba player manager seems the.only reasonable solution here
Pogba even.
Any way he clearly wants to play attacking football. Its him or Jose. And he talks a good game. Makes sense
As a winner, I may go and support City instead of giving my support to losers. I prefer winning

All fair points. As you have alluded to, I did not mind the sacking mainly due to his age. Where do we go from here?

This rubbish is still floating about. Ferguson himself said they went for Guardiola and Ancelotti but both were unavailable. They did not want Mourinho and now I see why
We wanted Mourinho as well but he already agreed to go back to Chelsea.
