Dalot > Young
Pereira > McT
Sanchez > Lukaku

Would like to see how the team plays after those changes...

Dangerously close to attacking I'd imagine

No Valencia?

Injured, suspended or otherwise...?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Seems dropped from the squad, probably for liking that post on Instagram
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To be fair, whatever you think of Jose..I’d do exactly the same.

No matter who the player was?

Jose requested the signing of a player which required the record wages in the club's history and after much opportunity rightfully can't make the first XI.

Which idiot agreed to pay the wage?

We wont play with two DMs... Matic often plays as a B2B type. Keep an eye on his positioning today.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Matic can't play box to box. He doesn't have the energy for that.

Unless a miracle happens, him and McT will sit in front of the defence allowing Newcastle the freedom of midfield.

Fred looks like another Jose signing he sets out to ruin.

Woodward and Jose.

Jose will have been given a wage budget for the squad and explained the implications of the transfer and downstream impact upon contract renewals, new signings.

At the time Jose was also offered a new contract. This was solely Ed placing his faith in Jose that this footballer offered enough value to the club to justify the outlay.

Woodward should have said no. We should not be paying stupid wages like that, no matter the player..

Fletcher 2.0 instead of Anderson 2.0 again. I've seen this episode before.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The fletcher of circa 08 was way better than the Anderson of..any period.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

That is a lie. The Anderson of the Arsenal 8-2 game and 5 game stretch dwarfs anything Fletch gave us, fine player he was. Cleverson were beautiful, no midfield pairing has made me as happy as they did since the days of scholes and Keane.

Anderson also had beautiful games the season before too, though I don't want to start sounding like Robb picking out a few games out a whole season.

But yea, Anderson had his moments. The right conditions he could have been a wonderful player for us. Yet to see a midfielder drive the ball through midfield for us since him, pogba coming closest.

I am off to a wedding this afternoon so won't see the game.

This may be good for my blood pressure.

Disagree. Player's wages have been on an unstoppable rise since forever.

Breaking the ceiling on those wages should be reserved for generational talents however. Same reason why Rooney's contracts in 2010 and 2013 should never have been sanctioned.

There has to be some element of practicality to the money in the game. If we took your method Roy Keane would have left the club in 2000 because we wouldn't go to £50k a week.

Bournemouth and wolves... Doing very well. Can't do much worse than going out and getting either of their managers.

He had a few good games, and was a talented player. Fletcher was more consistent overall.

Having slept on my fair share for work purposes it is actually the pillows I find that are the problem. That and the noise.

Premier Inn mattresses are surprisingly comfy. Hiltons are awful

Scholes not having it that he hasn't been backed. Almost leant across to nut Jake Humphries to correct him.
