Doesn’t Morgan’s contract run out this summer?

Didn’t True Blue call this article yesterday? 😂

Morgan doesn’t have a long term deal and surely you don’t have a problem with Maguire and Vardy being signed on long term deals?

So the only other player to worry about is Kasper who is officially one of the 3 greatest keepers on the planet. Good enough reason for a deal.

The likes of King have been dropped, and Morgan’s influences is falling. Drinkwater has gone.

The list of people you cited under “player power” have all but disappeared.

This to me suggests it was never they that were in charge. Looks like the owners are still in charge to me, along with the men they appoint to run the club.

My Bad over Morgan but is it true his influence is big in the dressing room i don't be grudge vardys pay now but when his pace has gone and his large wage bill we might then.

Morgan is not on a long term contract, it runs out in June.

Vardy and Kasper were signed up to long term deals as they are vital players in our team and were generating a fair bit of interest during the last window, clubs will now need to pay a decent fee to sign them.

Regarding form, the less said about Morgan the better he must now be dropped to a role on the bench for me.

Kasper hasn't really done anything wrong has he? apart from doing better for the first goal vs Everton he's been as reliable as ever.

Vardy has missed a few chances in recent games, I don't think he is fully up to speed yet, with England duty and getting a suspension early into the season.
Still has 3 goals and looks like scoring unlike are other strike options.

Interesting on Morgan, I’ve just looked at the LM online and seen the heat map of the formation from the weekend.

The two centre backs are way too high up the pitch, way too far apart, and way too exposed by the full backs who are almost wingers.

Keep playing Wes Morgan in that role, and I can guarantee he will keep getting sent off! Expect Maguire to follow!

See we’re linked to Clyne? That is the sort of player who could help our centre backs, but I remain concerned we are way to easy to get at using the flanks in this formation.

Wes is still a good defender, but he is a limited one and he cannot adapt to that!

Ha ha , you couldn’t make this carp up, well obviously Nev can

What next, they’re deliberately playing below par to undermine Puel and get him sacked, the remnants of the Premier League winning side want all their mates back?

We did play a high line, and with Chillwell playing a left wing position more often than defending, Maguire found himself moving over to the left back position. The Brazilian actor was drifting out to the left and taking Wez with him leaving a massive space between the two. Even i could see this so why not CP. But its all Wez fault no one else just him. I wonder who asked them to play so high.

MITLBC - it’s ok, we had Mendy protecting the back 4, and we all know he is Kante and Messi in one.

Oh yes i forgot about the great Mendy, silly me

Have you noticed though it's only former Title winners who are under performing, or is it those who blanked Stringer?

posted on 8/10/18

Here's one i dont get. We have a right back who isn't a right back, he neither gets forward well are defends well, he just gets by. We all say we need a right back then we have a title winning right back who as an out and out defender is perhaps the best we have and he dont get anywhere near the bench. Meanwhile we cant keep a clean sheet to save our lives.

He won the Title, need to clear him out.

MITLBC - I read somewhere that Pereira was a winger until converted to a RB at Nice by Puel.

posted on 8/10/18

Can I just say I like Pereira. I hope he can adapt to the pace of the Prem cos he oozes class.

posted on 8/10/18

Pereira right back hmmmm not sure about that, he not bad going forward though, think he perhaps better than Grizzley or whatever his name is.

There's a lot of things going on and is it a coinsidence that Vardy's form has dropped and Kasper looks like he's heading that way too imo are they now to comfortable?

posted on 9/10/18

So now Morgan’s dropped from the list because he’s not on a long term contract?

No mention of all the other players on
Long term contracts, ah , yes, they aren’t Title Winners and came after Stringergate.

posted on 9/10/18

Fuff TB those title winners are going going gone nothing to do with stringy try harder.
Putting new players on long contract makes sense but really whos going to ever come in for Kasper and Vardy now.
enjoy your wind up

- Vardy is a proven Prem goal scorer and Kasper should realistically be playing consistent Europa League football /at the least/. Of course others would be interested.
- By signing up your best players on long contracts, it makes a statement to others that you’re a club determined to push on upwards and not merely part of a conveyor belt, which is what the owners believe if nothing else.
- Vardy might be done by the end of his contract, but he might not. He’s a late bloomer who has been pretty lucky with injuries, no major vices and a commitment to rehab (the cryo chamber). Such players have a good chance of extending their careers a long way.
- Schmeichel is your hang-up.
