My mate was outside the Stade de France before the game and he couldn't believe the amount of Pogba shirts being sold at stalls around the ground. As a France fan I don't care what he does on the pitch. He is making the team money through shirt sales which can be invested in signings. You just don't understand modern football.

Spot on. It’s amazing how few fans have bought into Woodward’s philosophy.

France should really sell him to someone else for 120 million then buy him back for 180 million.

Imagine the shirt sales after #Pogback2

Stormzy or some French artist like David Guetta could do a music vid with him too!

His problem has always been consistency for us, Juve and France

Take the City game last season for example. Amazing but was awful for us in the next game. Take France vs Germany in Euro 2016. Excellent in that semi then awful against Portugal in the final.

Was excellent for us in the second half against Newcastle. Awful against Iceland this weekend

I believe he can be as talented as any midfielder in the world. He can be as talented as KDB but he just isn’t consistent enough to be up there and maybe never will.

I think a second coming like that needs stormzy AND David guetta. Maybe even jay Huss, but that might be pushing it.

I often wonder why Adidas don't let Nike sponsor Pogba then Adidas buy him back for a world record sponsorship fee. Real scope to create a massive ad campaign that could involve Stormzy and Pogba rapping and Stormzy holds out an adidas firebird track jacket on stage for Pogba to put on, as a 'welcome back to the Adidas family' kind of gesture.

I believe in business terms it’s a game, they call it pass the pogba.

Pass the Pogba could have a double entendre for some kind of street slang that could really help Adidas cement their position deep in the urban market after years of trying to dislodge Nike and the Air Maxs init fam.

If only we all knew this before we wasted 89 million buying him back.

Oh, some of us did.

Pogba is...enigmatic

When the mood takes his fancy, he can outperform any player and produce passes and crosses that are out of this world.

But if he starts the game with a sulk....Then get him tissues and watch him cry!

Absolutely. You'd make enough in one season to buy Nedum Onuoha.

Don't understand this consistency argument.

If I have a car that fails to start or breaks down regularly it isn't a great car that just needs to be consistently great it is a crap car that can't be relied upon.

If we were peddling this 'just needs to be consistent' nonsense prior to Pogba's arrival then Gabriel Obertan would still be at the club. Another frenchman who had some great performances mixed in with the dreadful.

Nothing to do with being developed, he hasn’t regressed at all, simply was never as good as made out to be at juve, where he had more time on the ball and a better midfield team to help him.

We try and use him to control ganes. He’s not that sort of player, doesn’t have the tactical brain or intelligence for it. He’s best suited in a role that allows him to play the final ball, or incisive pass, not plot moves and shape the team a la modric.

Who cares what a player is doing in a trumped up friendly?

Have you heard about the new Alexis Sanchez shirts? They cost £1,000 making them the most expensive in the premiership. Then every time you actually wear them you have to pay another £50.

Go back and have a look at Robb's articles before we bought him. He has done a 360 now.

I don't need to. Although I would say 180 not 360 as 360 implies he has gone full circle which would mean he is at where he started.

Nobb and I had very different opinions on Pogba.

Nobb based his on the words of one poster, and you tube clips.

I based mine on watching the guy play for France and Juve, and his previous reports from the reserves.

Mine have been proved to be correct.

This will not come as a surprise to anyone really.

You keep coming up with new ways to look stupid.

I’m basing my views on how Pogba has turned out. It takes a wise and open minded man (not that you’ll ever be able to look in the mirror and see that in yourself) to accept he’s not turned out as I hoped he would.

He’s a supremely talented footballer and at his best is absolutely top class and United standard. But his consistency hasn’t Improved which is a shame.

If you can’t see that’s a natural conclusion that I could come to based on watching him play for all the years I have then it explains why the best job you could get in life is as an estate agent which shows how limited you are as a person
