im on the liverpool 'big win' thread right now with this kinda nonsense can we try be a cut above?

Liverpool have looked good in every game I’ve seen this year. They’ve had a couple where they haven’t played particularly well, but even then it’s been the final ball that’s been lacking and they’ve been defensively very solid.

They are more focussed defensively than last year (I think Klopp has said that himself hasn’t he?). I wouldn’t go as far as saying they’ve had a defensive style though. They’re still looking to move forward whenever they have the ball.

Actually you aren’t getting it despite claiming to watch our games.

In no way do we play defensive football, we go out to play attacking football. Just because we are keeping clean sheets doesn’t mean we play defensive football.

If you want to, you can see our heat maps or touches in the opposition area.
But you don’t, you prefer to offer your viewpoints on the scorelines and shots on target only.

No wonder you draw the wrong conclusions. That’s just you.

Looking forward to us scoring a few more goals to get us closer to City still.

Defensive United have scored 5 goals in the last 2 games. How many have you scored in the last 5 games?

So one of two things is happening either you’re now playing more defensive or something is wrong with your attack

Yet you are all denying either is true

Who knows.

I think its between them and Man City. Ultimately I think City have too much quality but I wouldn't rule them out.

Chelsea are a balanced side with some strong players, Azpi, Jorginho, Kante and Hazard inparticular but a lack of a top striker will be their undoing. Really felt we deserved to beat them today.

City are top, they've been to Anfield and not lost and they've also now got KDB back. I really can't see anyone finishing above them. Their squad is by far the best and they've got the most match winners in the league.

I said either you’ve gone defensive or your attack had gone cr@p

Of what you say is true and you’ve had lots of touches in the oppositions box (no pun intended)

Then clearly your attack has been off.

So which is it? Klopp being more defensive or the best attack in Europe being a one season wonder?
