Good my *ss. They were nothing special, we sat back and let them have the ball. Their midfield had no pressure. We got up the pitch second half and applied a bit of pressure they were all over the place for a bit.

Yeah Juve looked very good. But then united are not that good at the moment. Some excellent players in united but they are just not a team imo. The game against Chelsea the first goal did not come from great play but just a ball played in the box and some some lucky bounces. Can't see Maureen lasting past this season Tbh

Are you serious? But DDg didnt make any vital saves apart from CR7 free kick and the rebound. In the 2nd half , fingertip save. So they didnt create chance after chance. Just seem dominant all over the pitch.

Every team in Europe knows how fragile this United side are, I'm surprised they didn't push harder for more goals tbh

Lindelof was the only player to come out of that game with any credit tbh.

Exactly, thye didn't get out of second gear.

Once they scored they knew they could soak up the pressure. We create one chance from Pogba and that was it.

Our attacking intent consisted of getting the ball to young to float a crap cross in.

That's what Juve do - quite probably better than any other team in Europe.

They've won 7 Serie A titles on the trot, had Madrid reeling last year, and played 2 out of the past 4 CL finals.

And they just strengthened the team with Ronaldo.

They have to be one of the top favourites for this comp this season.

There is a huge gulf in class though, we are a million miles away from them or any elite team. Unbelievable and in Jose's 3rd season too. Wow, we should be closer really.

Problem is Juve might be a good side, but they weren't tested today until the last 3rd of the game. United caused them problems playing like 10 yards further up the pitch at a higher intensity and Juventus were very sloppy under that pressure. I'm not convinced they are as good as you made them look for long periods tonight.

i think the defence dealt with ronaldo with ease

Don't think anyone is saying that they aren't that good. The Utd performance is what is coming in for criticism. As Shaw said after the game, the team gave Juve too much respect in that first half. You can't give them that kind of space and time on the ball.

Juve are an excellent team, but they were made to look a lot better than they are for large periods of that game but our complete lack of pressure on the ball.

No doubt they’ll be one of the favourites, but their dominance was a lot of our own making.

Wait until we play City to see total domination. That game is going to be embarrassing.

We made them look a level above most teams in the CL today that's for damn sure

Every team looks good against us. Don't quite know who thinks its a good idea to sit off and let the opposition ping it around at will whilst we sit with two banks of 4 in front of our penalty area. It's absolute dire tactics and makes us dull to watch and play turgid Sheite football. Tonight was an utter embarassment to be honest against a team who yes are good but come on they are hardly special

Juve played for 3 points. No point schooling teams at this stage in the competition if you're then going to wilt under pressure in the ko rounds.
