It is Real Madrid’s worst start to a season in 17 years. Not something for us to be too proud of.

17 years? History! Means nothing.
Right now we are better than Real Madrid
Congratulations to Lewis Hamilton on his 5th world title
Real Madrid are of course now managed by Julian Lopetgui who was our first choice to come in as our manager before we turned to Nuno. I suspect Julian may soon be on the dole if results don’t improve

Wolves - Played 10, 15 points
... I'm not exactly proud but am quietly pleased
... and why not?

Why not proud? We are on route to our best ever season in the Premier League and in 9 league games we have only been outplayed once.
Don’t see any reason to feel negative about the occasional defeat, especially when we have outplayed the opposition.
I’ve got some bad news for anyone that does get down when we lose. I reckon we will finish around 9th in the league and if we do, that will likely mean we will lose 15 or 16 games over the season. Don’t worry about it. We are in the top half of the table for a reason, and that is because we are doing really well
I never said we couldn't be proud of our current league position. Just that I wouldn't be too proud of having more points that Real Madrid as it is completely irrelevant.
I think most of us would have taken this at the start of the season.
I'd still take a 17th place finish, but honestly I think we're much better than that. I think around 12th - 10th is where we will be come the end of the season, unless we bring in some real fire power in January.
Yeah tam I was replying to wulfrun
Had a good weekend down there in an airbnb near Preston Park. Nice part of the world to live I imagine
Proud or not proud is neither here nor there, it is mightily frustrating and avoidable to a large degree for us to be so poor in the final third.
Unfortunately it was entirely predictable in August that this was going to be our big problem this season
Just reading why our match is at a strange time this weekend. It was originally scheduled for 3:00 on Saturday. Then Sky chose it for tv coverage and it was allocated to the 13:30 on Sunday slot. Then Spurs Champions League game next week was scheduled for Tuesday not Wednesday so they asked for the game to be moved back to Saturday. But the normal lunchtime and tea time tv slots were already taken, so the only option was 19:45 on Saturday.
Been to a few football games in my life, but can’t remember ever seeing a game on Saturday night before.
And the game at Arsenal next week was put back from Saturday to Sunday at 16:30 because Arsenal play in the Europa League on Thursday. But that Wolves game isn’t televised
Probably not being televised because the Manchester derby kicks off at the same time.
Looking forward to the Spurs v Man City game tonight. Should be a belter!
Yes should be a good game gem, two teams that play good stuff, let’s hope City tire them Spurs out
You're top of the pot in the HC League Gem and you are on course for 10 bonus points to boot.
Getting ready for that game too. Got City to win 2-1, as have quite a few.

Lopetigui sacked by Real, who will they go for next. Conte was down as favourite but stories now suggesting that won’t happen. Wouldn’t be surprised if they went for Pochettino
Reading that car parking at Wembley for the Spurs v Man City game tonight was £40. Think I’ll go by train when Wolves play there
