Morning' Igor.

You'll have to play without them then.

Ramdini - its October 31st today but, aside from that, I think you need to get out more

Well I do not disagree with that. I woke early and wondered how their day is structured. If you imagine things you can see why playing at home is such a big advantage. We were away at Old Trafford and look what happened there. We can merely hope. I will be watching.

Ramdini I would point out that the proliferation of "spa" hotels has contributed enormously to general weediness and the moral decline of our nation

I like to imagine them dragging themselves out of a flea infested bed, having a cold wash in the tin bath, a quick bite of bread and dripping before pulling on the flat cap and dragging the whippet out for a jog around the old red brick terraced streets in their hob nails.

Those were the days - proper men, with blisters on their hands and corns on their feet. None of this namby-pamby spa treatments in the days of Steve Bloomer.

I used to live near 'Chick" Musson of the 1946 FA Cup team. He lived in a little stone cottage in Kilburn. Lucky if he earned £10 a week.

I was interested in how it would all be organised. There's a lot of work behind the scenes. Would they go down the night before and would they stay in London on the night of the game?

I might just reflect favourably on the fact that Nigel's Burton beat Aitor's Forest

Squad flew from East Mids to London City about an hour ago - or so I heard.

Welcome to London City Airport where it is 9 degrees, with a light breeze from the south-east. The local time is 13.26.

Please remain in your seats with your seat belt securely fastened until the plane has come to a complete standstill.

Remember that smoking is not permitted until you are in a designated smoking area and this includes members of Derby County Football Club.Yes, I am looking at you!

May I we wish you all a safe, pleasant and victorious onward journey

OK thanks - that is interesting information. They must have chartered a special flight and no doubt will fly back tonight after the game. Much cheaper than a coach and on overnight stay with less risk of traffic delays.

But what do they do now? Will Stamford Bridge accommodate them until the game - or will they hire a hotel somewhere?

Travel Manager - decisions decisions eh!

Pub presumably. Lots to choose from.

Sure it is apocryphal but stories abound of sneaky tricks in the away dressing room - low lockers, slippy floors, unsettling colours and so on.........

Just had a call from an ex-colleague. Taking his customary post-lunch stroll through Mayfair, he saw a large coach parked on Albermarle Street, having just discharged the Derby team intent upon taking tea at Brown's. He followed them.

Interestingly, our loanees were given supplementary vouchers so that instead of traditional Afternoon Tea (£55), they could indulge in a Champagne Afternoon Tea (£65).

This could easily have caused resentment but far from it. This was Frank's way of telling the team "get promoted and you too could have a supplementary voucher for tea......" Brilliant psychology really.....

Keogh was not with the team having been given permission to visit Will Hughes for a catch-up.

On the train to London. Then heading to Earl’s Court.
Got to believe. 4 wins from a place in Europe next season
