I've always said that managers and players shouldn't get involved with fans. There's too much risk of provoking something nasty.

Of course, that doesn't excuse anyone who throws coins, etc at people.

Well I suppose you could lump England in with it considering the FA and Stoke have warned and are investigating McLean despite the abuse he received at the weekend.

Every single one of those fans who went ballistic at him are indeed cavemen. Ridiculous he’s been investigated for those comments.

It was though, I thought it was great banter from Boyd.

I also think what Lennon done was pretty funny also
