Players have been burnt out

I think we’re in a false position.

We didn’t deserve to beat Palace, Leicester and Huddersfield and but for a last gasp goal against Chelsea and a missed Mahrez penalty we could’ve been rubbing shoulders with United.

Yes I’m aware I’m talking maybes and in reality, Liverpool got the results but come on - this was supposed to be the season where it all came together.

Perhaps I’m being too reactive from tonight’s game but it’s not the first time I’ve been very concerned about our performances this season.

Not bad for your 5th post in 4 years

It’s not a crisis, that’s accepted but who is not feeling pretty underwhelmed with our pace and style of play this season.
Our position in the PL is recoverable, I think we will comfortably achieve top 4. The title though, once again, is realistically beyond our reach. Think Man C and the surprise performers Chelsea will battle for firsts and second and we’ll get third. Between Arsenal and Tottenham for fourth.

And chances are we’ll progress some way in the FA Cup. Semi finals would be a good, the final a bonus but our record in finals under Klopp suggests that’ll be as far as it goes.

Oh yes champ league

That's the difference between us and City. When a team turns up to play City, they know City will win. They fold after the first goal and, a la Southampton, five goals later. Game ends.

The same teams look at us, and fancy their chances. Yes, they accept we will be hard, difficult, impossible to beat, but the belief, the hope, is there that they can get something. Only against City do they see themselves as no-hopers.

Season over cos we are two points behind city, out of league cup and 2nd in group in cl.

But we are terrible at the minute. It's rubbish football compared to last year

Maybe we were just spoilt, but it doesnt look like that it genuinely looks like the players cba and are knackered or its tactics to play like its a pre season friendly every game. Sit deep preserve energy, possibly both. Klopp needs to sort it out.

the only good thing about the losses and draws is we got what we deserved, be it due to not being clinical enough or in the CLs case absolute pathetic performances.
