Champagne football wasn't it
It was the substitution of Fellaini and Mata for Lingard and Sanchez that changed the game.
Allegri changing the formation really played into our hands.
Yeah nothing to do with the front four. More to do with juventus finishing.
Josexeasnt responsible for the win neither was that line up. The game was an anomoly where we should have lost heavily but fluked a win. A total lucky result. Top stuff
We won because Fellaini - for reasons unknown - put the fear of God into Juve.. They went to a back 5, created space for us in midfield which allowed us to get further up the pitch to win a FK (which we scored from), then on the winning goal three defenders went with Fellaini resulting in a mismatch and confusion at the back post.
When Fellaini is the answer, you know there's something fundamentally wrong with your team.

Not a totally lucky result, a lot of sides roll over and accept the result.
Last night wasn't to do with our front 4 but the OP is right regardless. That is our best forward line up.

Agree in most cases, but last night we were up against truly world class defenders who weren't giving us an inch.
Yesterday was the kind of situation where Fellaini actually should be used.
Fair play , you called it.
Although i'd prefer Rashford instead of Jesse.

It was lucky point blank but you got the win fair play.
An away win in Europe is nothing to balk out, I am very pleased with the result.
Need to do a job on Sunday

Was Joshua lucky that Klitch didn't knock him out when he could have?
Were City lucky they won the league because QPR were lacks in the last 5 minutes?
Football is all about taking the chances when it matters, just like any sport. There were elements of luck, Juve should it had at least 2 or 3, but they never.
United were lucky that Juve missed all those chances but I called it during the match, any team that misses that many chances deserves to and usually does get punished
I've been saying it for years. Let's just Stoke the f*ck out of these teams. Get the big guys in the box and launch it. Bundling it into the net counts just the same as any other goal. The media just tries to brainwash us into thinking it is the wrong way to play.
The way Chesney Palmed that cross onto head of one of his defenders which then pinballed into bonucci's face then into the net, pure training ground stuff, you can see what we're working on now, so proud
the fact your linking an article that included pogba as a CAM who was literally a passenger yday I wouldn't gloat too much

.................
No it isn't. Lingard really doesn't offer much and Sanchez has not set the world on fire as a central forward.
The bonus here is that it keeps him away from the left side where he has proved to be very easy to mark.
I'd like to see that lineup with Rashford up top and Sanchez right.

WHAT
What bit didn't you understand Wahl?
Mourinho wasn't responsible for the best win of the season but when Man Utd don't win he's always the one to blame?
Ok Wahl. I get where you are coming from there. Fair enough.
What this game was not was a Jose masterclass.
