Really good job for him if they stay up. Liads of cash and some talent on the books.

Be interesting to see what the Fulham boys on here think...

In the words of Gary Linekar:

"Ranieri, really?"

Good luck Claudio - a true gentleman.

A legend forever in Leicester.

Hope he does well at Fulham.

A true gentleman.

On further reflection I'm not sure how I feel about this.

It's a bit like having a girlfriend, who you love very much, but you reluctantly feel that it won't work out in the long term and you part on good terms.

A year or two later you bump into her in the pub, with an ugly bloke, who she introduces as her new boyfriend.

You want her to be happy, but you're not entirely happy in your new relationship and you wonder whether you made the right choice. Either way you feel she could do better.

I would never, ever consider supporting a 2nd club but i shall certainly be following Fulham’s results from now onwards.

Very Best Wishes to the new manager

Maybe the ugly bloke can satisfy her while you wimped out.

Classy manager.

Classy club.

Really hope it works out for both parties.

No, it was the other way around.

She took me to heights of ecstasy that I never could have imagined, but then insisted on trying to change everything. We were in danger of tarnishing all our happy memories if we'd stayed together.

He won’t keep them up. They needed fat Sam.

I'm not really sure this is the right move for Fulham. Not so much with regard to who they've hired and I of course wish Claudio the best there, but as I recall they started both of the last two seasons slowly and then picked up and gained momentum as they went. Given the nature of the league this year, they're not exactly at risk of being cut adrift at the bottom as yet, and the could potentially have started accelerating soon under Jokanovic just as they have before.

But then, their owner will have a better idea of what's going on behind the scenes than I. And I fully expect at least a new manager boost from this.

I hope it works out for him, but I do worry that it won't. At least he has an easy start, home to Soton. I'll certainly be looking out for Fulham's results.

I don’t know how to feel about this.

I’m not sure I’m comfortavke seeing ranieri coming out to try and beat us. I’m also not sure this is a great move for Ranieri as it doesn’t play in to his skills. Immediate turnarounds aren’t his thing.

However, what he showed at Leicester is he’s a tactical magician and can get a defence shaped up. The defence piece is absolutely key, and with the talent Fulham have, I think he may succeed.

It’s mixed emotions from me, but I wish Claudio well.

Good luck Claudio!

Hope he has some success there but not at our expense.
Maybe he'll come in for 1 or 2 of our fringe players?
Who is Fulhams right-back???
Danny Simpson might be buzzing at this news?

Comment from BBC news article:

"Idiots, don't they know you're supposed to hire Pearson THEN Ranieri if you want to win the league?"

Mersey - you kind of sum up my feelings on this but hey - "dilly ding, dilly dong" to Claudio - a real gentleman and Legend in the true sense of the word. I also am old enough to remember Fulham in the old First Division and they were something of a bogey team to us so I'm not overconfident about the upcoming fixtures. I particularly remember losing at home to the then "unfancied" Fulham when City were a top side to a wonder goal from Rodney Marsh. I can still remember the depression on leaving Filbert Street and wondering just how we managed to lose the game!! Now where's my Fossils & Foxes??

It'll be interesting to see how he goes with this, quite a different challenge from what he inherited at Leicester.

I thought about wishing him luck, but at the moment he's in charge of a club that looks to be finishing below us, so I don't want him to do too well.

It should be entertaining in any event.

Cant see him doing any worse than his predecessor at Fulham. Ranieri is a manager with plenty of experience in the Prem.

posted on 15/11/18

It's funny really.
For us it was deemed a crazy appointment generally.
Now at Fulham he's "The right man at the right club" appointment generally
