Brilliant result and nice to see Forrest in such good form for Scotland. Been a great international break for a change.

Few good goals.
Listen fan, the only thing you should be worrying about is your attempt to credit every goal to McKenna last night on that live thread
Ffs the only goal he was heavily involved in was the one he made a Kant of for Israel.
two goals started from his passes
The first one comes from Armstrong having a blocked shot, McKenna passed it about 12 passes back so I’ll maybe give you that
The 2nd is Robertson launching it upfield.
The 3rd comes from Robertson’s through ball to Fraser.
yes the second McKenna chased the ball back ahead of a striker and passed to Robertson to launch upfield, there ya go
McKenna to Robertson to Fletcher to Christie to Forrest
You’ll do well to keep him with that type of contribution mate.
Destined for the top.
and apart from the Israel goal that apparently was McKenna's fault he was superb, won everything in the air, nothing got passed him, without a doubt Scotland's No.1 centre back now

dunno why that posted twice
he wont go to the very top but don't see why he cant play for a mid table PL club, no worse than what any of them have tbf

He’s undoubtedly our no 1 centre back, that’s nothing to get carried away with though. The other choices are Jack Hendry, David Bates and Charlie Mulgrew.
Like I said on Monday, he does the basics well but he runs with a deployed parachute and his ability on the ball will stop him for reaching a top level.
He’s probably do a decent job at a bottom EPL, high championship team.
Silver, can’t really blame McGregor for any of the goals tbh.
Fraser did drop off slightly but he still had 2 decent chances in the last 20 minutes that he should have done better in.
The first goal came from Paterson not tracking his player, Bates had to go out to him, and Armstrong and McGregor more so the latter not shutting Kayal down
It was only Israel we got the narrow win against.

That’s our level right now
That’s why we were pot C for the Nations League
Perhaps it’s time for us to start improving as a nation again
Perhaps
well next time it comes around we will be in with Germany, Iceland, Poland, Croatia, Czechs, Russia, Austria, Wales, Finland, Norway & Serbia so def a step up

Pretty much the whole team played well last night and all made a contribution to the win. Paterson at right back seemed to have a poor first half, but he was fine the second half.
Very pleased for Eck and the team.

Sleekit put downs are always the best kind.
Hugely impressed with Forrest. His first touch in pressure moments is superb. Seems to have plucked that skill out of nowhere.
But for me the biggest praise is reserved for big Eck.
For a man labelled as a dinosaur, his Scotland team look as exciting a national side for as long as I can remember. In fact, I can remember. It was the last time he was Scotland boss.
We are actually playing some decent football. I realised the level of opposition isn’t exactly world class but I think this is great for our development going forward.
Put it his way, Gordon Strachans Scotland actually put me off watching the national team. This time round, there is a buzz.
Well done Eck
