I didnt call them micky mouse cups. Plenty of Utd fans have over the years though.

Tbh now Mourinho has become sh!t I wish you'd just move onto your next character as this one is boring now. May I suggest something like a Utd fan willing to throw away their entire clubs culture solely in the pursuit of results? I think that could work

Mourinho is shiiit now yet he can still win more trophies than Klopp and finish above Klopp in the league.

Honestly in that case yes.

Winning the CL final is obviously better than losing one in case I need to clarify.

The League Cup is basically a reserve Cup with only the Semis and Final being taken remotely seriously.

The Europa is a joke too. I mean you can qualify for the latter stages by failing in your CL group. If you win it you qualify for the CL.

I wouldn't say no to either but out of the choice of all three I'd pick a CL final loss (with the journey that goes with it)

If the LC is a joke cup. What was the last trophy Liverpool won.

Will be before Klopp, he just takes part.

Money and coefficient points. Id rather have the trophies but it was a brilliant ride and one I thoroughly enjoyed. The £70,000,000 has been nice too and allowed us to pull away from the likes of Utd by demonstrably being a far better side than them now whilst also having depth in the squad.

You're welcome.

Fact is you deal in absolutes. If you think £70,000,000, the increase in sponsorship, the kudos and indeed the memories mean nothing that's fine tbh.

I think that CL run has done our club the world of good despite not getting over the line against Madrid.

Is Klopp a better manager than Benitez?

posted on 2/12/18

I never said it was meaningless. I was just disagreeing with the guy who said losing a CL final is better than winning both the Europa League and the Carling Cup. I think you would disagree with that too.

Think you may be overstating how good reaching a CL final is though. I'm pretty sure the memories won't mean much in a few years, especially considering Liverpool as a club have actually won the CL in the past. Last season shouldn't be the peak under Klopp if he is to be a success at Liverpool.

Its certainly a good debate. Not sure Benitez's tactics are suited to the very top level anymore but he's won everything really so cant fault Rafa. Thats about the third time youve asked though so you obviously feel you have something. You don't. Rafa is a legend in Liverpool, more so than Klopp.

posted on 2/12/18

I mean what does Klopp have to do to reach "Rafa legend" status?

posted on 2/12/18

Win the CL, donate loads of money to the Hillsborough fund, stay in the city with his family even after leaving the club.

Stuff like that.
