What comments
Apparently Jose called him a virus.
1. Didn't think Lukaku was very good apart from the goal. I counted 2 occasions where he could have been through on goal only for his touch to let him down (this seems to be the type of thing people miss when they say he gets NO service). I would agree that it probably suits him more to play up there with someone but it still isn't good enough for him to be a regular starter.
2. Yeah. Should be playing more often.
3. It's Jones. Mr inconsistent -you can read nothing from 2 games. Besides he'll be injured again soon. How he is still at this club is beyond me.
Two fine goals from a team perspective. Rashford getting defenders on the back foot then picking the right ball. Emphatic finish from Lukaku as well, given his lack of form and recent goal drought.
McT had a good game in the back 3.
Herrera did well in the midfield.
Rashers got past a few players.
That was it really.
Young, Matic, Lukaku, Groot and Pogba were as crap as it can get.
Point I was making was both being a lot more effective for us as a pair.
Our away support is the one thing we can always count on. They always make us proud to be able to support this club. Through thick and thin.
