Come on Arsenal, bring these deluded spuuds down a touch.

Apparently he got a back spasm in training, according to Arsenal's official twitter.

Ah the good old “back spasm”. Sounds serious enough to be a genuine excuse, but also vague enough that he can be back for the next game if needed with no questions asked. It’s up there with “illness” as a reason for a player’s absence and equivalent to pulling a sicky with “food poisoning”.
You need Ozil for home games in particular.
Spurs are solid defensively so will be difficult to see where the creativity comes from.
Mkh will have to have a blinder

That’s more like it. Put in a good performance, high intensity, get a positive result. Good old football.

It never ceases to wind me up that we spend the wages of 3 quality midfielders on one unreliable twaat. Ozil earns like 5 times the wages of Eriksen. Wasting so much money that ends up limiting our ability to improve the team
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Although i agree, it's easy to say with hindsight.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nah....I was pretty unequivocal that I'd much rather lose Ozil than pay him that. I'd have paid Alexis that to keep him seeing as Alexis on form was right in the top bracket of players in the division. Paying Ozil that vulgar amount has never made any sense at all to me. That we were stupid enough to let him run down his contract didn't mean we had to compound the error, getting our pants pulled down by a very unreliable player.
yeah....same fans that call Arsenal stupid to pay Özil that amount of money are the same who would call Arsenal a club with no ambitious when he moved on. Some double moralist here.
C'mon Arsenal. It's time to put Spurs and their fans back in their place.

Except you can specify who you're talking about. Quit talking total nonsense.
To be fair Ozil was on pretty handy form last season when that contract renewal came about 😂
Sheriff, you personally may not have wanted Ozil to stay or to be given that amount per week, but there were plenty of Arsenal fans that did. I personally wanted him to stay, and was glad that he did....until I found out how lucrative his contract was with the additional benefits that came with it.
Either way, you know as well as I do the backlash would have been unthinkable. There was already a toxicity surrounding the club, and it would have been exacerbated had we let both Alexis and Özil leave.
Ozil will be a miss today
Looking at those 2 teams on paper I don’t know how we can beat them. I hope I’m wrong
Spurs have goal scorers in Kane, Ali, Son and Erickson.
We have Auba as the only real goal scorer in the starting line up

Yeah on paper you would say they have a better team
Kind of games where you need someone like Welbeck on the bench
Please let Mustafi play well! Got feeling he’llngove away a pen!
Got to avoid a sloppy start. They’ll be looking to take full advantage of the fact we often start slow.
Should have put wenger on the bench to come on and head in the late winner
We are playing very very high
Sitting on a plane to Doha about to take off. Guess I’ll find out the result in 6 hours :| Oh maybe I can use my 15 mins of internet time to check.
