My son doesn't go to many games these days, but he sure knows how to pick em !

You meant he doesn't know we play like that week-in, week-out?

Beautifully elucidated Ang and I salute you. You clearly have been enveloped in the mass ecstasy of yesterday's shenanigans.

Added to the Sky coverage and the RD commentary, this completes the triumvirate of media to make the day perfect.

Extended highlights, (including the elusive Carson match winning save).

Thank you Ang for your very good report on a amazing game. I was getting fed up after the previous few games but now I've perked up for our push to the top.

Huddersfield are still on 10 points.

Great write up Ang

And thanks for the extended highlights Scouse, enjoyed that.

Well done Ang. Impressive that the casual reader would probably be completely unable to detect your disappointment that your adopted hometown team lost.

I've just watched the highlights and still can't believe the end of the match.

The commentator is poor, he doesn't know our players till he sees the number. Is he the regular chap or did they find him on the street?

Very nicely described Ang. Reading your report was almost as good as being there. I can only hope that my own attempts at reportage fill the gap half as well as yours. You certainly had plenty of action to hang your version on. Electrical failure, recovery after two goals down. First goal for Tomori, Marriott getting a very decent goal, Mount scoring and Josefzoon. I wonder how he played overall. He has needed to improve and stop trying so hard to impress only to mess things up by a poor decision - almost every time. And was Mount back to his earlier creativity?

All of the players seemed to be having an enjoyable time including the loanees, which can only be a good thing. Tomori certainly enjoyed his goal, The only possibility I can see of any of them staying at Derby is for us to win promotion and for them to enjoy their football enough to be happy to stay.

Ramdini, I must say I found it very difficult to meet the publication deadlines. Don't know how you do it every week.

I would say Zoon was probably the quietest of our players, but he must have been doing something right for Frank to leave him on for the whole game. Holmes made a good impression during his short cameo. Mount played well and looked better with Wilson with him in MF.
A word for the manager as well, as it was his bravery to take off Wisdom, who'd looked solid, and put on Nugent. His (& Jody's) substitutions effectively swung the game our way.

I think Lampard said Wisdom was injured anyway but maybe he would still have made the change. Holmes runs well with the ball, I like what I have seen of him.

I assume it was Holmes who managed to provide the tricky assist for 'Zoons goal? He did well in that melee.

I meant to mention this morning that Chris Rayburn (he is a sort of wannabe Ang), for The Sunday Times made Zoon man of the match............

Well written article!

Fabulous win, well done!

It was a huge lift for us Leeds fans after our loss to Hull. WBA draw was good for all of us too!

JonnyLA, what are you doing here? I thought you sounded a bit sheepish after the Hull game.
