Rabiot is a shrinking violet.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's many things, by all accounts, but I don't think this is one of them.

PSG have just signed Paredes, which suggests maybe Rabiot is off this month after all. No guarantee it'll be to Spurs obviously
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Rabiot has been finished at PSG since about November.
He had to go to the FA to be allowed to train with the first team.
My bet is still Barca in the summer
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A number of football journalists seem convinced Barca will be his next move. Just seems to be the red tops and speculation websites that are linking both Spurs and Liverpool.
Tielemans does seem like a decent bet at £20m tbh. Obviously it's a gamble but not a massive one by todays financial standards.

I would love Rabiot at Spurs.... I cannot think of a better replacement for Dembele.. Good physical presence, can play, big game/big club mentality. Would be more than happy with him in the center with Winks or Dier depending on the game & could use Sissoko & Skipp off the bench
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He would be perfect, but if PSG won't meet his demands there's no way Spurs will. There's too many reasons why it won't happen for me to believe it will.
Monaco are struggling in the league and need their best players. Am concerned they are getting rid. Also none of the big players are chasing after him. These boys usually don't miss a trick.
I have seen bits of him and never really stood for me but am sure there is a talent there somewhere hopefully Poch can drill it out of him if the rumours are true.

They have offered him contracts, he's not going to get paid more elsewhere so it's not a money issue for why he wants to leave

It's obvious he's agreed terms with Barça, and it looks like he's willing to be frozen out of the squad until he walks free.
It could be about playing time, but that's hardly going to be a guarantee at Barça.
If it's glamour he's after, then failing Barça or someone of their status, then he'd only want to consider a club of equal status.
It's unlikely to be managerial issues, as he was already running his contract down before Tuchel arrived.
Perhaps it's personal issues with others within the club, but either way, my impression is it's Barça or bust.
Barça also have considerable beef with PSG, which might have contributed to them going out of their way to lure him.
Makes too much sense for it to actually happen
Personally think he is Bayern bound. Lets move on.

Rabiot not Tielemans..
Could be Barca if they're getting rid of Rakitic as rumoured. Midfield of Alena - Rabiot - De Jong could be absolutely phenomenal in a few years' time

Arthur As well. Only 22 himself
True enough. Arthur is the principal reason I didn't think Barca would be in for Rabiot any more after they signed De Jong, but who knows. Their wage bill is astronomical already so what's another overpaid midfielder in the grand scheme of things
