“Awful...but we didnt lose.”

However You lost another 2 pts to City!

I always had the feeling we would drop points.

You said it: Liverpool just match City's record...And you'll win the title.
It didn't happen.

I think Spurs have clawed back 4 points on Liverpool, in the space of 2 games

City will drop points too, make no mistake....loads of points to play for.

We should have most that. Got away with a point. Now no more margin for error.

You were awful v Wolves and Palace too.

V lucky to get points v Palace Lesta West Ham. And Rafa did you a favour

Your luck will
Run out if you carry on playing so badly

I Think it is all reality sudden stress of winning the league

7 goals conceded in first 19 matches
8 goals conceded in last 6 matches
Ineffective offence all in a sudden.

Not playing like a team that wants to win the league.

People keep forgetting Liverpool are STILL top. VVD seemed distraught after the game. Its odd, 3 points ahead in the league. I don't even think it would be the end of the world if City took 1st for now, Liverpool are still, IMO, favourites

Tbh defence constantly chopping since Gomez and TAA have been out has effect3d the defence.

Still top, I hope this is our blip, but the players look as jittery as us supporters.

Mentally they need to toughen up.

We have been hammered with injuries recently, wij, hendo, TAA, gomez, AOC, lovren with lallana not long back.

All teams have injuries GB.

Personally I hate this being used as an excuse. It's a squad game. West Ham had injuries too.

Lallana was terrible today - way too slow
Kita as well - not effective against WH in mf

Its not an excuse, its just fact. Unfortunately most have been in defence...Lovren. .matip..gomez...taa...and fabinho was also injured and he covers full back.

U got to say its very fkn unfortunate all defenders.

Don’t blame injuries, blame the decision to loan out Clyne resulting in us weakening our midfield.

Blame the lethargic approach.

Blame the weird midfield selection.

We’ve shot ourselves in the foot.

City have played the majority of the season without our best player or a left back. Suck it up.

That 10 day break not doing anything for the team as yet. Like Pep said some weeks back, you give yourself a chance by taking all matches seriously and progressing as far as you can.

Im not convinced City are good enough to take advantage of your slips but then again Im not convinced Liverpool can survive the pressure either.

Still top boys.
Couple back, and back on track against Bournemouth.😀

It doesn't help, but it is what it is. It's a squad game. You've highlighted plenty of times the depth of our squad, so I find it disingenuous for you to highlight our injuries.

TAA coming back will make a difference, as will hopefully Gini. who some criminally under rate.

=================
Pretty much decimated in midfield, and defence to be fair.
No bigee.
Players back, and we'll be 3 clear hopefully, with 13 to play.🙂
