It's the main reason there has been a shambolic line of decisions this year. We've had keepers kicking out, elbows, stamps and kicks to the haw maws all deemed fine this year because of that ridiculous decision that set a precedent.

There should have been precedent set last season with the likes of Cardoso getting his face smashed with a flying elbow.

KT, Cardoso and then there was another shocker of a challenge on one of our players as well.

I thought very balanced interview. We do have too many referees not only of a particular team persuasion but also from the Lanarkshire district....looks and feels like a clique (copyright - bubble) which fast tracks their own far too quickly and instead of taking ownership of mistakes, put up wall of silence then almost in defiance guys who have a horrendous game are almost guaranteed a big game after it. All wrong

Refs declaring allegiances in Scotland would be just mental. It would only pander to the moonhowlers. There's enough tears'n'snotters already.

We should ship in impartial refs from Ireland.

Surely it would help though as then we could have the guys who aren't Celtic or Rangers officiating other games.

That said, if the majority of them support both clubs then we're humped

The original episodes were brilliant when they were looking at different cases every week. It got a bit tired when it became too much about Mulder's sister etc. The new ones were pash.

Seriously though, what does anyone think would be achieved by refs declaring allegiances?

They's be hounded worse than ever. And there's always the possibility we'd end up with worse refs than we already have due to refs who may lean towards one side of the OF not being able to officiate in any games involving Rangers or Celtic.

They would just do a Dougie Donnelly or Chic Young and say they support Clyde or St Mirren.
