Great result for Gers .

Thought Gerrard played a blinder tactically and with subbies. Saw the game out well - knew Aberdeen were limited on the attack so let them have the territory but put on Defoe to hit them on the break.

Perfect.

McInnes in the radio now - lets see what he has to say

Yep great result tonight and good to see Hearts and Kilmarnock drop points too.

I thought we fully deserved the win. Superior in tactics and personnel. Three very good goals too plus a well taken penalty.

Lovely stuff

"Morelos was fantastic in leading the line for them. That quality he has was obvious. “

Obvious to everyone except the football ‘experts’ of a certain persuasion 😂

Lent is so dangerous running at players in the final third. Whenever he got a chance to go at them it was panic stations.

What a talent that lad is.👍

Kent even 😳

Getting a good run going. Recent results

Rangers 1. Celtic 0

Livi 0 Rangers 3

Rangers 4 St Mirren 0

Aberdeen 2 Rangers 4

The disappointing Killie result was in amongst that lot, when we played 2 up top.

Aye Kent’s really on his game and still improving. He fits in so well with the team, is a very hard worker and defenders don’t know how to handle him.

I think Barisic is still finding his feet but I hope him and Kent will form a good partnership in the left.

Tav had a very good game both in attack and defence and was very cool again for the penalty, plus the assist for Defoe. He’s having a great season.

Both Morelos goals were class, as was Defoe’s. Jack also had a very good game. He’s developing into a good all round player.

Looks like Dorrans will be back very soon too.

We’ll definitely miss Morelos though.

Rangers mindset...ignore losses as they can be explained away but look at the wins...Bears make me smile....absolute desperation pouring out of every pore but the stoicism is outstanding

5 wins in last 6 games...... including last seasons top two......desperation oh aye We've clearly improved since last season

Pffft

Celtic ooze paranoia and desperation from their manky pores. Victim mentality looking for sinister reasons why they’re not coasting it in the league. Tin foil hats on display in their thousands accusing refs of anything and everything soon as they lose a big OF game because they just can’t handle it.

The Beaton at the Crown Bar meltdown will be remembered for a long time because it was so utterly ridiculous and the tims fell for it hook line and stinker

Tims watching us when their own team is playing

mental
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I have both on.

Normally do if I’m not at the game myself and both are playing at the same time.

How mental is that?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Very.

I honestly never watch your games. I’ll check the score if I remember, but fck watching you

posted on 6/2/19

same, never watch celtic unless the in laws are watching

posted on 6/2/19

If they're on TV I'll watch it unless I've got something I'd rather do or watch. It's not a big deal in my opinion. Seeking out a stream for them is a definite no.

posted on 7/2/19

Yeah, the only time I'll watch any other Scottish team is in Europe, and then, only if we are not playing. Just don't understand the mindset of seeking out the opposition games, but hey, each to their own

Just watched the highlights.

Referee appears to get pretty much everything spot on apart from the McGregor incident.

Shocking tackle that, should have been another pen for Aberdeen.

Morelos daft again, not a great deal of contact but again he knows what he’s doing. Wouldn’t be surprised to see it rescinded though, he’s gotten away with worse this season

Can’t believe there was Celtic fans wanting McKenna, he’s a flucking dumpling.

posted on 7/2/19

McKenna is a bit of a donkey on tonight’s showing. Culpable in some way for each of the first three goals.

Let’s be kind and say he had an ‘off night’. It happens.

McGregors challenge wasn’t great. It’s no excuse but when a forward is steaming in on you lists of keepers do that to protect themselves.

Ferguson showed later on he isn’t adverse to putting the boot in himself. He showed later on what a danger to GKs he can be.

I disagree with Mcinnes in that it is different for GKs. At times they put their heads and hands in places where outfield players put boots. So it’s clearly not the same.

Studs out to an opposition player is ok in your opinion.

What is it with this “I’ll never watch your game; it’s mental” nonsense?

Happy to watch other teams on telly but not if it’s your so called biggest rival.

I wonder why certain people think that’s mental?

Mental right enough

I watch pretty much all Scottish games on the tele regardless of who is playing.

Folk who say they wouldn't watch the other team are liars, simple as that.

posted on 7/2/19

It’s said to separate them from obsessed Celtic fans.

I pay to have sky and BT sports-it makes sense that I do that only to watch Celtic games...

It’s clearly mental to watch anything other than your own team. Pyoor staunch man.

Are you making a statement on my behalf or asking a question?

Because I clearly don't say 'Studs out to an opposition player is ok'.

Point I am making is that it is different for GKs and loads of them 'protect themselves' in this way. Its not just McGregor that does it by any stretch of the imagination.

Not saying its OK at all but it is a fairly established practise for goalies to come out with their studs up - you see it all the time.

McGregors was deffo one of the nasty looking ones last night and he could easily have had action taken against him.
