I don't think it's going overboard by saying he's the best defender EVER

Whole team played well second half.
First half Foyth was his usual FAaackup
But second half everyone played well, even Lucas Moura!
Thought Sissoko was a key to keeping charge of the midfield. And Toby, absolute stalwart at the back!
And Son of course ..... can't say enough - they double & triple teamed him throughout.
Pochettino was getting a lot of flack for his positioning of Vertonghen - and it nearly cost a couple of goals first half.
But second half it paid off.
Great to see Jan boot one in.
Also, for Llorente!

Played very well tonight to be fair, but come on. Even Spurs fans know this isn't true. He isn't even the best defender at your club.
