Thing is, you’d need a very creative midfielder to pick a pas through a team who sit in.

That's not obvious at all. I think what's more likely is we targetted Davis and Defoe. One of whom (Davis) is clearly finished or at least not the type of player we need.

There has to be a player we could have got from one of the Eastern European leagues on the cheap to be a creator in Centre mid.

As I said before that's why we have a head of recruitment, a director of football and a manager. What part of that didn't you get the first time? It's not my job to scout players.

You honestly think I should follow their leagues and know their players in those leagues? Had you heard of Morelos or Barisic before we signed them?
