VC what’s your take on the idea that united would ‘roll over’ for city to stop us winning the league?
I get the idea from some fans perspective but would you think the idea would come into Ole or the players minds?
The wind didn't help Liverpool, or what Klopp said

Obviously want United to beat City but you can be absolutely certain the performance and the crowd will be nothing like it was against us and I see nothing but an easy 3-0 win for City.
If City do lose a game it won't be in the Chelsea, Spurs or United games it'll be a slip up in an unexpected game.

I'll take it you disagree
My comment two above your tells you that.
The only way there is any chance of us rolling over for City is if top four is mathematically out of the equation by then and all our players are in holiday mode.
This is a difficult one for Man Utd fans, I guess it comes down to who is the lesser evil of the two ?

City.
It is a no brainer for any United fan who lived through Liverpool's dominant years.

City are by far the lesser of 2 evils. It's not even close.

City will defo not lose to Chelsea again this season in the PL
In fact Chelsea are glad to see the back of City until next season.
The reaction of one or two United fans on here will be funny if they win.

If who wins?
I agree somewhat with the OP. Cheering on City is tbh braindead. Why would a United fan want a club with a bottomless pit of cash start to dominate football? They are just going to become impossible to beat. United will be further behind
Players aren't like fans though they will want to win and hopefully united are looking at 3rd and need a win.
Also cant understrand why anyone would want to see their team lose to their derby rival to stop another team, Even if it's a rival.
Some seem to hate a rival more than liking their own club, bit mad really.

If United win against City.
Would much rather us win our games to be honest.
If I had the choice I would choose City over Liverpool winning the league as ourselves and Liverpool have a far richer history in the league and are much closer together in terms of success.
That being said If Liverpool won the league you couldn’t begrudge them it as they’ve earnt it themselves, not through a sugar daddy.
I wouldn’t actively want us to lose to City to help them over Liverpool. Would much rather win and celebrate United than worry too much about teams I don’t support.

We've bottled nothing you complete dope
Bottled a club record points tally. Lost 1 game.
Literally the only results one can complain about at the draws with Leicester and west ham. Every other result perfectly respectful.

Not even worth a bite!
Burnley, they've turned their season round.
Fulham, with their caretaker manager, played out of their skins against Chelsea and could have won it.
Spurs, they've got a point to prove if it's even to themselves if nobody else, that they can take the heat.
9 points indeed!
That having been said ....
.............
To be fair, the Spurs one is the safest bet Jimmy.

Valid point vidichin. I fancy your boys getting fourth slot. I can't see you getting higher, but OGS has worked wonders.
