I agree with Hound; I've seen several undeserved red cards over the years, and Marquis' joins them. OK, he should not have pushed their guy for the first yellow, but if the ref had done something about Wimbledon's continual antics to prevent the Rovers taking quick free kicks and throw-ins, JM would not have been so frustrated. It was a very soft yellow, and as Hound says, the second was a joke.
However, we do seem to have run out of gas. As I said before the game, I would have rested Kane. He was a pale shadow of what he was before Christmas. After a run of some good performances, Wilks was below par. Other than running around, May was poor and seems to have forgotten how to shoot these days. Why is GM ignoring Sadlier?
Big crowd at Blackpool today, it will be a different atmosphere than usual on Tuesday!
As much as I agree it was soft Hound I don't believe we did enough to win that game. We were very poor for the most part and only got going towards the end of the game. May is not fit to lace one of Marquis's boots so it's got to be Tyler Smith for that energy. I'm not.confident of getting anything from our next 2 games and which could see out play off aspirations sliding away.

He's mentality tired, you can see that at the way he snatches at some of the chances he would of buried pre Christmas. Any man in his late 20s who could of had the chance to sign a contract that would set him and his family up for life would be affected.

Only way to sort it out is to give him a rest, let him have a few days away with the family. Then come back and fire us into the championship, cos without him firing on all cylinders we done have a hope in hells chance.
Unfortunately we are a team that relies on one player up front. That players is Marquis.
Having seen the video I can see no evidence of any fault on Marquis's part when the GK pushed him out of the way; he tumbled over and did nothing against the rules. The GK might have been judged to have fouled him and that would be a penalty! There was no pressure on the ref at that point and I hope his assessor marks him down severely. (You can only assume Marquis irritated the ref in some way earlier in the game and this was retribution.)
May is disappointing; instead of concentrating on his football he seems constantly trying to win free kicks by falling over, even when staying on his feet would be the smart thing to do. Marquis responds to slight touches to obtain fouls, but not usually when there are better options.
Remarkably good crowd forecasts this time, but the nearest we got to the result was 2 draw forecasts. Nookie got 5 points for the crowd, but Mooligan remains in front.
