Poch to good for you lot

5 very winnable actual home games left. If we win them all that should be enough for top 4. Still think Arsenal add Chelsea will drop a lot of points.

To any Spurs fans who want him out who would you replace him with?

What’s Big Martin Jol doing nowadays?

I doubt any top 6 club would sack him for 1 point from 4 games but he should definitely be under more pressure than he is

Poch has kept Spurs regularly in top 4. You should be thankful for that in spite of your zero spending. To go to the next level you need to compete in the market for players.

Sandy mate, this is embarrassing. You lost, it happens. You are incredibly lucky to have a coach who could go a lot higher. Flipping between ‘spurs can win the CL’ and ‘would poch last at any other top 4 team’, is a little bit schizo to say the least.

I’d anyone caused problems it’s levy for not buying players. Poch has for a great job with exactly the same squad as last season.

I bet no other club in the pl did NOT sign a player in summer. All clubs have unholy amounts of cash available, burning in pockets. For that, poch is doing a top job.

All the other top four clubs are at a different stage than us Sandy, at this stage of the `project` it was never the expectation for us to be title challengers or top four regulars.

We have over achieved the last few seasons and hence expectations of some fans have risen.

Read something about since Poch took over spurs, 23 clubs have a greater net spend in England. So there are teams in the championship that have spent more in that time. Continually having to say it, he has be over achieving with Spurs for a few years now. Only way we will truly join the big boys is if we recruit like them and pay like them.

Toby 👍 it seems CRYSTAL clear to fans other than SOME Spurs fans that this is "nail on head👍"

Give the bloke a few quid and see where it takes you?

We have done excellently under Pochettino.

We are competing in the quarters of the BIG competition, the CL.
Over the past few years we have beaten Real Madrid, drawn with Barca at camp Nou, and beaten Dortmund twice.

So the lack of and top class bench has finally come home to roost these past few games in the EPL. That is Levy's fault, nobody else's.

If that’s true, it just proves what a gaffer you have. In a world where managers get plaudits for winning things with 600m of talent, his achievements speak for them self.

Since the last couple of days of 2018, He has presided over five Prem defeats, blown a 10 point lead for top four, and two exits from cup competitions. Are you telling me any other top four manager would still be in a job.

Yes because you don't write off 4 years of progress over a bad month, but he definitely needs to be under more pressure than he is.

Gets a free pass way too much in my opinion.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, because he has a lot of credit in the bank. We’ve also progressed to the CL quarters in that time. It’s a period of bad form, only an idiot would want a manager who has done a very good job over 4.5 years sacked because of period of dodgy form.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

If you want to mix it with the big boys, then you make big boy decisions.

Real Madrid manager sacked, despite the club winning three CL in a row
Raneiri sacked won the Prem
Mourinho sacked won the Europa League and FA Cup
Wenger sacked won three cups in four years
Chelsea sacked countless managers despite winning CL, Europa League, FA Cups and Prems

Poch after five years of winning nothing is only going through a period of winning nothing, so let`s keep hold of him, he is doing well.

That is what separates Spurs from the other clubs, they all make tough decisions, even if the manager has won trophies. Spurs just stumble along, hoping it will all turn out OK.

He is working with players who arent good enough.what did pep win in his first season in england ....nothing... he then spent 150 million(what we have spent since 1995 net) on three fullbacks all fast technical athletes which cost the most money that allows city to play the way they do. We cannot compete with that. davies is steady but offers nothing going forward and is too slow. trippier is mentally weak and constantly switches off.kwp too young and raw.aurier has potential but can be too rash at times. Rose is not what he was and never will be. Poch can only go so far with the tools he has simple as that

Some of these are amazing!

That last article
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The last article only proves how indept the Spurs manager is. A season of immense promise has been allowed to implode by a clueless manager, who is now starting to blame anybody but himself.
